Thanks so much for all the help! Still having to pour gas in the carb for it to start. He thinks the idle jets are leaking down. thinking about rebuilding the carb or getting a new one.

We've been having a problem with fuel falling back down out of the carb and making it diffcult to start. My husband nneds to crank and crank to try and get it to turnover. The Ford site suggested I try here. A percolation problem was mentioned. We've changed the fuel pump, and worked on the carb. Any suggestions or advice would be great!

I thought I might try this site for some info on fuel problem my husband is having. The gas seems to be running down and out of the carburator or fuel pump after the car is shut off, and it is very hard to start. If anyone has a '55T-bird and care to comment or make suggestions, please do. He has already tried a new fuel pump and it doen't seem to help. Thanks!
