  1. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=190180342037&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=009 This sale ends Sunday. No reserve, Cheap.
  2. I had this Buick identified on this forum in March. Body # 13711198, Motor # 83891911. I was told that the #'s matched for a '40 Buick produced in Flint. Under advisement of a family friend I asked for to much $. So, now I have it on E-bay. It started 1$ no reserve, I think it is up to @ 105$ now, no reserve. Item # 190170511298, or you can find it under: eBay Motors > Parts & Accessories > Vintage Car & Truck Parts > Parts Cars. Then search "Buick". It is a parts car with no title. No reserve. Located in Greenville, NC. Pictures included. Auction ends Nov. 11th, 07. Thank you.
  3. I had a dead beat bidder and have relisted this Porsche. Auction ends on Sunday the 22nd of July 07. Thank you.
  4. I have this Porsche on E-bay right now. It is in the parts category without a title. I am trying to get a bit more exposure for it. It is an obscure spot. Item # 190127610260. E-bay motors> Parts and accessories> Vintage car and truck Parts> Parts Cars > search Porsche. It is at $ 350.00, no reserve. The auction ends Monday the 9th. Greenville, NC. Thanks

  7. This vehicle is from my Father's estate. I do not have a title and will only be able to provide a bill of sale. Without a title I did not even know the year or model. I used the Buick forum here to identify this vehicle. If you would like to view the thread it is back on page 2 in the Buick general forum. It is titled "1937 ? Buick Limited ?" From their determination this is a 1940 Series 80 Limited, Model 81 Limited 4dr. Touring Sedan. The body# is 13711198 and the motor reads 83891911. Please do consult the original post, because I was obviously a "bit" off the mark. I am not a professionally trained mechanic but I do know this is a frame-off full restoration project. The postive is that it does seem to have the original motor. I am asking $1850. Please contact me for further details or to make an appointment to see the car. Serious offers will be considered. The car is in Greenville, NC. My # is 252-752-4867, please leave a message. E-mail: jeffhillsculpture@yahoo.com. Thank you.

  9. Thank you gentlemen for so generously sharing your knowledge. I left my subject line the same although you have collectively determined that I have a 1940 Limited here, 81 Touring. The main thing that it has going for it is that it appears to have the original motor. Otherwise this darling is in need of a frame off. The trunk deck and gas tank are almost completely gone. The floorboards near the firewall are bad. On the drivers side it has rusted through the cowl and the fender. The passenger's side is not as bad. The seats are so bad they might be 67 years old The spare tire mount on the passengers side is gone, but the driver's side is better. All of you know what a piece of Iron this chassis is. It does not seem to have ever been wrecked. I have to many projects from my father's estate to even touch this one. So in general it is a number "6", in need of a complete restoration. Would anyone like to venture a value on this vehicle "As Is"? I have used E-bay in the past, but would like to put this on the Buick forum here. Thanks Again.
  10. I looked at some pictures and obviously this is not a thirties Model. The headlights are mounted in the fenders. That is painfully obvious in hindsight. I was unable to locate any type of plate with the body, trim #, etc. I looked on the fender apron behind the battery and firewall but saw nothing. Not even a " ghost " impression were one should have been. There is a plate cast into the block above the dipstistick on the straight 8. The first # seems mis -stamped. It looks like an Eight and is below the line and faint. With this eight the motor reads 83891911. I am not sure how to measure a wheelbase accurately. From the plumb center of one wheel to the other comes out to 133" or a 134". The rear end and steering wheel have "Buick 8" emblems. The dash has a "Special" plate but the cowl vent on the drivers side reads "Limited". I am inclosing a picture of the rear end with my buddy the camera hog, Bondo. Thank you for your time Gentleman.
  11. This vehicle is from my father's estate. He told me that it was a 1937 ?, at one point. I believe it is a "limted" because of the spares in the front fenders. I also beleive it is considered a "limosine model" because the rear doors open to the back. I do not have a title but the VIN# plate on the chasis reads 137III98. Once again " I believe". It is diffucult to make out the #s, and I think those are "eyes" not "ones". Well, If anyone can help me clear up my many questions: Make, Model and if the VIN# sequence seems correct, I would appreciate your time. Thank you.
