  2. Hello all, I'm looking for the underdash, in the center AC unit. Aftermarket, like ARA, Frost Temp or GM dealer installed are all OK. Complete units or parts will work. You can email me directly at; frank@itpphoto.com I'm looking to install in a '65 Skylark. Thanks, Frank

  4. Please give me a call if you need more information or help, I'm in a Buick club that the Grand National is popular with. Take care, Frank 630-430-2487 -- frank@itpphoto.com
  5. Thanks Greg for the advice, I'm just starting to take it apart. I have done one of these (or 2, I can't remember) but's it's been 20 years ago. I'm not keen on dropping the pan, but like you said it's a good time to clean it out. Thanks again and take care, Frank
  6. I recently bought a disc brake kit from "The right stuff detailing" came with all new stuff from booster down the line, was reasonably priced (under $600) and although there is some argument about drum VS disk the disk always wins in a brake fade situation. You can find them online, if they are coming to a car show near you they do show specials and free shipping. I have not done the install yet as I'm waiting on springs and some other parts. I also am putting on SS lines I got from them. Original is nice but if you plow into the back end of a Lexus your original will be history. Frank
  7. Hello all, I'm getting ready to do a little preventive maint. and swap out the timing chain on my 65 300, while I'm at it I'd like to rebuild the oil pump. Any ideas on which chain or oil pump kit to use. Any other ideas. Thanks, Frank
  8. While you are in Vegas, rent a car, head toward the old downtown area from the strip, turn left an Charleston Ave, just keep going, about 25 minutes, same road, you can't miss it, Red Rock Canyon State Park, 9-11 mile loop off the highway, nice canyons, winding roads etc. etc. Also, go to Hoover Dam, if they are running it, pay the extra money for the "Hard Hat Tour" well worth it. Closer to town, stop by the Liberace Museum, interesting to see. Also I HIGHLY recommend the Cirque de Solie show "Love" at the Mirage, if you are into Beatles music. Or the Treasure Island CDS - "Mistere." For a great (little pricey) Italian dinner, go to Bautista's Hole In the Wall, it's on Audrey lane just off the strip. For Ribs, there is an original Tony Romas on Sahahra just off the strip. Comedy Stop at the Tropicana is a fun night too. As well as just walking the Downtown area at night, they have a 6 block long Jumbotron overhead. Where are you staying, I might be able to hook you up. Have fun, if you do nothing else but people watch, you can't go wrong. Frank
  9. Super Turbine 300 ... I knew that, don't know why I had Powerglide on my mind. Thanks for the help guys. Frank
  10. OK, so for the old cars, to top off the fluid what do you use? Is Dexron III OK? I bought some that says on the bottle; "for use in older ford and GM cars." Any suggestions would be appreciated. Frank
