We are installing wheel cylinders on stock front drums of 55 dodge pick up. They are stepped 1 3/8" on one end and 1 1/4" on the other. Which end faces the front/rear? Can anyone help?
Thanks for replying. The wheel cylinders are stepped. One end is larger than the other - 1 3/8" and 1 1/4" on the other. Which end points to the front/rear? Would the small end or large end have more pressure. Also, do you know of a bolt on disc brake kit for this truck?
Have a 55 Dodge PickUp with stock front brakes. The wheel cylinders are stepped. One end is larger than the other - 1 3/8" and 1 1/4" on the other. I don't know how to install them. Which end points to the front/rear? Would the small end or large end have more pressure? Can someone help? Just in case no one knows the answer...does anyone know of a bolt on disc brake kit for this truck? Trying to find brake shoes and wheel cylinders is almost impossible.
We have a restored 1955 dodge truck with orginal front axle. We replaced the shoes, cylinders, etc but now the wheels are locked and we don't know how to adjust the brakes or unlock. Any suggestions?
