    Mercer Family.

After WWI I had a relative who worked for the Mercer Automobile Co. He was, as family lure goes, a mechanic or machinist. I contacted the AACA Library in an attempt to see if they had any record of William "Bill" Horsnall and unforunatley they didn't. So I am here asking if anyone happens to have any company listings of employees or factory pictures that we could see to possibly identify Bill Horsnall. Any help would be appreciated. Regards Dave
  5. Well here is a good time to offer my suggestion. Why doesnt AACA offer with memberships the option of a internet based magazine, for people who spend time on the internet and for people outside the US, and the option of a paper copy subscription for those who enjoy reading in the garage? Just a thought that I think makes sense. It may also cut down on costs for the paper version.
  6. Does anyone know what the torque values for the rod caps and main caps are for the 1929 Ford A?

  10. Hello, I am in need of a person who can cast iron weld. I have an exhaust manifold that needs the flanges welded. The person/shop needs to be reputable and professional. If you know of such a person/shop please contact me at seagrave@comcast.net. Thank you Dave
  11. Space fill up for the water, electric and dump hookups. There is tons of room just to park. As for dumping and water they have an area that is very easy to get to. The bus runs every twenty minutes or so and is reliable. I have used it the last two years without problem. Don't use a bike it is a pain in the rear to push around and then when you get something you have to pedal all the way back. Also, as we all know it tends to rain and riding a bike in the rain while carrying something is like pushing a rope uphill. Dave
