  13. I have a set of NOS 1941 Olds front fenders. Also, they're have "76" marked on them? Is '76" a model for the '41 Olds? If so, will they also fit the other models-if there are? Thank You, Bob
  14. I have recently bought a 1936 Pierce-Arrow sedan-it is in need of a complete restoration. I would like to tackle the "BAD WOOD" in the body as a number one project. It isn't "THAT" bad; but, there are some areas that need attention. Since I don't have the equipment and expertise to do this type of work, I'd like to find someone that is capable of doing the work. I'd like to find some one within 150 miles of Buffalo, New York, I can drop off and pick up the car. Contact me at (716) 826-2416. Please, leave a message, if I don't answer. Or, muzandali@yahoo.com anytime. Bob
  15. Sorry for the delay in answering. Yes, I still have that fender. If still interested, please, call me: (716) 826-2416 Thank You, Bob
  16. Hi Ed, I'd say, Deep Maroon body, with Black leather roof, moldings and fenders. Uptight and very conservative. Bob
  17. Hey-"Old & Blind," You also missed the Pilot Lights at the front. Sure looks like the former "R.K.O. (film studio) car. Bob
  18. 1932 Model 53 or 52. The heavy two bar bumpers and little arrows on the hood vent doors are V-12 appointments. This one has all the "goodies" (options) for 1932, even the wing windows on the front doors. Wish it were mine.

    series 36 manual

Wish one would pop up on E-Bay, for for my 1934 (1248) or my 1936 (1601 0r 1602). This manual looks like it's in great condition. Bob
  20. WANTED: Would like to purchase a good running Series 80 engine. Possible pickup, depending on location. E-Mail: muzandali@yahoo.com or Phone: (716) 826-2416 Thank You, Bob
  21. I disagree! For 1934 these vent doors are just right. I much prefer the 1935 style vent doors--identical to those used on all, 1935 through 1938 Pierce hoods; but, that's me. Even though my 1248A will, forever, have this four vent door arrangement. The Studebaker/Pierce-Arrow? WOW! I'd buy one! That is some great work. CONGRADULATIONS. Bob Sands
  22. Hello, I haven't been able to get a photo of Ernie Follis' '34 Pierce Le Baron for comparison--other than a poor angled shot taken at Pebble Beach last summer. It isn't worth posting. "All" radiator shells were painted (body color) starting in 1934, with only the ring around the shutters (part of the radiator shell assembly) left in chrome. Starting with the 1936 models this ring (chrome) was a separate part of the shell. So, as a suggestion, I'd redo your concept model with a painted shell, giving it a longer hood look. West, all 1934 and '35 Pierce-Arrows (8 and V-12's) came out of the factory with painted shells. What you see today, at shows, are restorations that are over done ("the glitz look") and/or owners not knowing what their cars really looked like "when new." Plus, it's a whole lot of work removing and painting that shell once it's been plated. Bob
  23. Your "concept" car strongly resembles a 1934, Model 1248A, with "Body by Le Baron." The only one known, to date, is presently owned by Ernie Follis, San Diego, Ca. I'll give Ernie a "heads up" and maybe he can post a picture?
  24. For Sale: 1941 Oldsmobile front fenders. N.O.S. Some surface rust, one has a small amount of rust damage, on bottom edge, below the headlight. These are very straight having never been damaged. Other than the mentioned rust damage--they're perfect. $400.00 for the pair. Bob
  25. Yes, it was on my table, at Hershey, last October. Bob
