  1. Looks good to me. Isn't that the new bent ring style piston?? For improved cornering performance.
  2. I will have to get ahold of Chris. I know what the parts are, I was in Hershey when I realized I didn't have dimensions of the links and then I couldn't remember which one was the sway bar link and which one was the shock link.
  3. Sorry to hear of Earl's passing, prayers to his family and friends. 🙏🙏

    Golf carts

Golf carts are getting out of hand. More able body people riding them. How many times do you see everyone on the cart riding down the rows with everyone including the driver looking in each vendor space??? Someone is going to get seriously hurt. People need to be more responsible when they use carts! Pedestrian have the Right of Way!!!
  5. Was another great Hershey! I have been coming since 1981, vending since the late 90's and always have a great time. Yes there are things I would like to see changed, but am thankful for what the Hershey Region and AACA does for this meet. Nothing like it in the world!!! Sales were good despite the rain, so thanks to the people that come to buy! My space on Monday and then on Friday morning. I have my Automated Attendant running the space as I go looking for parts. Can't wait till next year.
  6. Congratulations! Looks like a great car! Hope it isn't too hard to get it in running condition again. And thanks for buying it before I did!
  7. And now as I look at the picture I am unsure which one is sway bar link and which one is shock???? I think the one closest to wheel(left) is sway bar.
  8. I am in need of sway bar links for the 1948 Lincoln Continental and found several but unsure of the length of them. Can anyone get me the length center of bolt to center of bolt? Thanks
  9. All set up and ready for buyers! Everything here, from Crosley to Model A, Cadillac to Nash, Mustang to Plymouth. Priced to sell!
  10. Also bringing the two curved glasses for the back window for a 1953-54 Nash Ambassador. GBC 7-8
  11. I will be bringing a selection of 1930-32 Model A sheet metal parts along with the seat frame. Bringing several Hershey judges trucks from the 1990-2000. And a large selection of $1-$5 pile stuff, hubcaps, stainless trim, taillights, oil filters, etc that I just need to get rid of! I inherited stuff from my father's estate and I just don't have room for all of it. I wish I had a few more spaces and more trucks to haul it out there. GBC 7-8
  12. John, I will be there in spaces GBC 7-8, selling a bunch of junk, I mean "Antique Car Parts"! Hope to come home with a lot less stuff.
  13. I am from SWPA, I see that that information has gone missing in my ID?????
  14. I have some of the Hershey Region judges trucks from the late 90's to mid 2000's. I was wondering what the value is on them? Pics later if needed. May bring them to Hershey????
  15. Finally got the water pump for the 1958 Lincoln Continental convertible. I got one and the bypass tube was rusted away, I called them and they said they would get another one out ASAP. Well turns out they didn't have another one in stock so they called their rebuilder and they had two they were working on. Was shipped out over a week ago but went to the west coast... They located it and got it at their place on Wednesday and shipped it right out to me. I got it at noon and put a coat of green paint on it and then installed it. I am now waiting on help to install the radiator and it should be ready to go. And because I didn't have anything else to do at the shop, my air compressor tank developed a rust through leak, so a new compressor was needed. And some building adjustments. Still need to do a few things to finish up but it is running!
  16. Bringing some Model A parts, seat frame, sheet metal, etc. Maybe some Crosley stuff, 53-54 Nash stuff and anything else I can stuff in the truck that my dad and I have collected over the years! This year will be different without him.😢
  17. The wife and I went to a car show today, I took the 1951 Crosley wagon and she took her birthday present, a 2000 Jaguar XK8 convertible. A friend of ours went with his 1964 Chevelle SS convertible. Was a nice show and I came away with one of the specialty trophies, Firemen's Choice. What is funny is that this is the third year in a row that I have won a specialty trophy. In 2020 I took the 1966 Mustang convertible and won the Firemen's Choice, last year I took the 1957 Ford Skyliner and won the Ladies Choice award and now the award this year! Someone must like my choice of cars??? Now, what will I take next year???
  18. When you say checked, did you have the radiator checked by a old fashioned radiator shop? Are all the cooling fins on the radiator in good shape? Is the block clean inside or full or rust debris? Water pump impeller in good shape? Are the hoses in good shape and not collapsing when under throttle? Is the exhaust restricted? When does the overheating happen? Within the first few minutes of running? At idle? Under heavy load? The more information you tell us the easier it is for us to diagnosis the problem. Good luck.
  19. Had a great Crosley weekend! Saturday our local fire department was celebrating 125 years and had a parade, I drove the 1949 Crosley Hotshot, my wife drove the 1966 Mustang, and my daughter drove her 1987 Lincoln Mark VII in the parade. They were giving out a cash prize for the best antique car and of the five cars in the parade my daughter won with her Lincoln. Then on Sunday we went to Latrobe for the Western Pa Region AACA car show with the 1951 Crosley Super station wagon. It was raining when I loaded the car on the trailer but was nice at the show till trophy time when it started raining again. Loaded it up in the rain and it rained most of the way home but it still was nice to get it out to a show. So many people asked so many questions about it, was very popular with the kids too. Let a lot of them "drive" it! Also added some of the other cars at the Latrobe car show.
  20. While I wait for the water pump for the 58 Lincoln I worked some on the 1951 Crosley wagon. Today I installed most of the interior trim. I still have a few things to finish, like tail lights and parking lights and general cleaning, but I hope to get it to a few shows before the weather turns bad. Has been a long time coming. Too many cars...
