I have a 1958 Super 2dr HT in dire need of replacement front drums. The car has Vacuum-Assist Power Brakes. The original drums have been turned down to almost nothing. The originals are aluminum finned and are virtually impossible to find NOS. Does anyone know if there is a cross-reference STEEL drum from another make/model to drop in place? Also, has anyone ever changed a '58 over to modern front disc brakes? This could be an option. This is my first stab at this website, so I'm learning the ropes. Joe in Oklahoma
