I'm an ole Chester County boy. I'm suprised raisins were mentioned (there are none) and no one mentioned "wet bottom" and "dry bottom". Shoo-fly is strap-back mollases crumb pie. Authentic is "wet bottom". Gooey as can be. Dry is the pies sold in supermarkets and such. It's a fine treat. and worth a trip to Inercourse to savor.
