On my spark plug lookup, it shows Champion W14 among others, but no C16C
5 AC Delco plugs are listed and 32 different Champions are listed for your car....
-
Rob, I have an extra room, just bring the cars with you...

When I was a child,, maybe in the '60s, the car made the fair circuit. It was at the Raleigh state fair and I remember seeing it there, along with other famous or infamous cars. It seems like the car was painted gold then...Earl B.

Well, it's taken a while, but the old girl is up and going again. I have new front bearings and seals, new wheel cylinders, and all news brakes, including clips, hoses and springs. It stops on a dime and gives you 9 cents change. Now, to get over this and get some new tires. It just never ends, does it?

Bryan, the only 'problem' I see is he said everything was rechromed....It should be nickeled....for a show car, the work would have to be redone in nickel. For a fun driver---who cares.
Obviously needs a top and upholstery... paint might could be buffed out and used...I don't see the headlight lenses....
My guess would be cash would bring the price down some...Overall, it looks nice...

Yep, what cahartley said!!!

Shadetree, my aunt had a bulletnose, and I've always wanted that car...probably in many pieces by now...even if one piece is left... Many early childhood memories there!!!

I think whether he can register the car or not is moot. The problem would be if there were a wreck, and your name is on the car and insurance. Who do you think the injured party will come after? You could be in more legal problems than you'd ever thought of. Just tell the buyer, you're sorry, but just can't do that, even if you have to cancel the sale. I wouldn't do it under any circumstances!!!!!

Shadetree, that Manhattan is great!! I've always loved those cars... Next you'll be getting a Studebaker.. haha...B

I know you thought I'd run away, but seems like things keep popping up to keep me away from the fenders. Well, I got there today, and your brazing is correct. Mine have primer on them, so I can't tell what the material is, but from the way it looks, it's brazed on. Your bracket is totally correct as is the brazing holding it in place....
-
Well, no one's come up with the correct answer....I think that's a push strap, to put on a car in front of you that has problems.....
David, do you soak the push strap in starch to stiffen it up for pushing????

There is no rule in NC... restored or original, either is ok.

Have you checked evilbay? I checked and lots of Buick horns for sale.
-
Maybe they figured it didn't work well in the carburetor, when the cars started stalling and jerking from vapor lock
-
I can't get to my fenders until Monday. At a friends business... but I'll check then and let you know....
-
The brazing is not factory. A later repair for some reason.
-
That's the bracket and the end of the fender support should fit with that bracket. Held together with a long nut and bolt. I also have a large spacer that fits between the fender bracket so it will not collapse with the nut and bolt are tightened.
Does your fender support fit with this bracket?
-
Doug, there is a bracket on the bottom of the fender and the brace/bracket bolts onto the fender by this bracket. If you need pictures, let me know. I'm sending you a private message with my email.
