My 1965 Cutlass convertible has had chronic overheating ever since I started it up this summer; I have replaced the thermostat, flushed the cooling system, and added a new radiator cap; all top no avail: the engine continues to run hot (particularly when idling in heavy traffic for more than a few minutes. The water pump was replaced about 6 years ago.
