  1. Overall diameter is 13" and the carb opening is 4.125" diamter. The center hold down screw does make it a later model, like late 50's. And the little tube that comes of the base, like a PVC connection. Maybe a truck?
  2. I've had this on the shelf for so many years that I don't remember where I got it. I had it tagged as a Buick air cleaner, but I think I'm wrong. Look familiar to anyone?
  3. Just realized this Touring Picnic Basket is still around, and so is this post. $120. Real silverware.
  4. Ok, took a while, but I sorted through all the parts I have with it. The car has a new interior kit! I cleaned the seats, and wow, they are new. Found brand new door panels, headliner, and carpet. That's about $1,800 in interior parts. As I mentioned, the front bumper and the little bullets are already replated and the grill is replated. Has many extra interior trim peices, and some new emblems and badges still in the wrappers. I did find more rust (surprise!) on the inner rockers and behind the quarters. See additional parts pictures. I'm open to offers. $7,900? $7,500?
  5. This is also posted in the General AACA For Sale Forum, but I thought you guys might be interested here. For sale is a 1957 Ford Skyliner. A bit of a project, but great potential. Engine runs, trans shifts, brakes work...but I would not say it's road worthy. Has been in storage for quite a while so it runs from an "outside" gas tank. Engine is a 272 with an automatic. Body work was done by an amature-amature. "He still needs some practice to become an amature body man." (LOL) The car was originally Red, but the amature wanted to show off his talent and painted the car black. The floors have been repaired, but there are some spots in the trunk that need work. (Looks like the floors were done by the same guy that did the bodywork.) The interior parts are quite good. The seats are a little dirty, but no rips. They must have been redone. Front bumper has been rechromed already! Just needs to be put on. I might get to it. Rear bumper not bad. I think I found all of the trim and will start putting it on, but I'm hoping to have it sold before I'm finished. (the picture shows some of the trim, but there is more) Asking $8,500. Car is located in the Phildadelphia burbs. (North Whales PA) Take a look at the pictures. Email me questions, or your phone number for more info.<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

  7. Well, this car isn't selling fast enough. At this time, I will start parting it out. I don't like doing it, but I need to move this car, or these parts. So if you see something let me know, and we can make a deal.
  8. Ok, here are some pictures of the parts that go with the car. There are some nice pieces. Daytona wire wheel hubs, and nuts. Powdercoated and rebuilt friction shocks. Brand new Cowl assembly, new windshiled, some fancy perfromance distributor, headers, trans and bellhousing are done, a bunch of other parts are powdercoated. Take a look.
  9. Very observant...your right I didnt put a price. As for shipping to Ironton OH it's $150 to ship there.
  10. I aquired this many years ago and it has been collecting dust, (and I mean alot of dust) at my shop. Maybe someone could use it or use some of it. This is a vintage Picnic basket that you would take with you in your vintage Rolls Royce or maybe a model T. Most likelyl not a T because the silverware is silver. this is not a complete set. It is missing some plates. The plates and cups are made in Sweden. Take a look at the pictures.
  11. I've notice that I didn't post a price. After a few conversations with interested parties, I'm thinking $3,800 asking price. Later today I will post more pictures of the parts and the car. I dug everything out this weekend.
  12. I guess your not in my neighborhood RU22? There is a bit to dig out before I can get better pictures, but here are a few more. Then I will start diggin' in and take more details of the parts.
  13. I have the driver side and passanger side door glass for a TR4. It might be the same for a TR6 and a TR3, I don't know. It is used, it still have the regulator track on the bottom that look good. $20 for the two if you pick them up. If I need to ship, then it's a bit more for the time it takes to package and ship it. I'm in the Philadlephia area.
  14. As you can see from my posts, I'm clearing out some project cars. Here is my 1971 Boss that needs a TOTAL restoration. Repeat Total. It is rough. I repeat ROUGH. Got the idea? (Not for the guy who wants to drive it by next spring!) It needs quite a bit of sheet metal work. It comes with a parts car, and you still will have to get some sheet metal and lots of welding wire. So what's good about it and why would you want to buy it? Well it's oiginally a RED BOSS. (I think it's a nice color). It has it's original motor, trans, rear, shifter, intake and just lets say lots of original parts (it is missing a few ). It is a Boss, and as all you members know, it's our job to save, restore, and maintain old cars. (and we pay for the privilage! (LOL)). I'm asking $9800 for it . (laugh quitely to yourself now:rolleyes:). I will send pictures to prospective buyers after a phone call. (I'm embarassed to post them publicly . Did I say it was rough?) Give me a call 215-620-8744 if you have the guts to undertake something like this.
  15. I have a vintage race car project. The frame is done, the trany, belhousing are powder coated. Shocks and other parts are restored. The engine is apart. It will need some parts, such as carbs. Some of the body parts are missing. I have a new cowl section and the original cowl. Also have the original floorpans. Missing hood, nose and backend. Lots of documention and some history of ownership. Some very nice vintage performance part. I haven't had a chance to go through all the parts. If you are local, you are welcome to stop by and look for yourself. I'm in the Philadelphia area. Take a look a the pictures. They will give you an idea of what it was, and what it looks like today. Give me a call 215-620-8744.
  16. I'm adding this picture of the car on a roll back so you can see how big this cruiser is. This was one big roll back.
  17. The car is in the suburbs of Philadelphia. Feasterville PA to be exact. Yes it looks to have the electro clutch. So, did that mean if you're battery is dead, and you leave the car in gear, you wouldn't be able to take the car out of gear because the clutch needed battery juice? And if you would like to call me, my number is 215-620-8744
  18. The car is located in the Philadelphia burbs. Attached are some pictures. Email for more.
  19. I have a 1947 Packard long wheele base sedan. It has those nifty jump seats for the in-laws when they go to the car shows (LOL). The car is a nice solid car. Good body, ok paint, but older paint with blems. No rot coming out on the body anywhere. The interior has very good rear seats, door panels, wood grain, and chrome. The the front seat has a tear on the drivers side cushion. Moths enjoyed snacking on the headliner. The bumpers and grill are removed for some reason. The grill is nice. The car has not been started in a while, but the engine does turn over. It will need the the usual 'car that has been sitting service'. This car is an estate car. It belonged to my freind who passed away. I would rate this car as a condition 4. Asking $7,500. Open to freindly offers. Please call with questions. 215-620-8744 (it's easier to talk than type). Pictures will be available very soon.
  20. Found this old radiator cap that says Stuward on it. I googled the word Stuward, and nothing comes up. Cann't find a car named Stuward in any of my books. Can any anyone ID this radiator cap? Does anyone need this cap?
  21. Nice solid Buick Special with good floors, frame and trunk. Runs, drives, and even stops. 300 V8 with automatic, power steering, manual brakes. Paint and body are ok. Nice buick chrome rims with good tire. Chrome bumpers and grill are very nice. Interior is nice and presentable. The car could use a some TLC. The power top works, but it could use a new top and rear window, especially if your going to drive it in the rain! Please call if you have any questions. 215-364-0204. Car is located in the Philadelphia suberbs.
