  1. Hummmm Being a newbie to the forum I'm not sure how to reply to everybody. Thanks to everyone for your great advice. I truly appreciate every pearl of wisdom offered and will take each and every comment to heart. The car I posted turned out to be all that each of you said. I nixed the idea after talking with the man. Being a lady I'll withold my actual opinion, nevertheless I'm on the hunt. Actually have found a man in Texas with about 50 years car building experience that's looking into building my dream car for me. I'll keep everyone posted and might check in again for some great advice. Thanks again to all. Susan
  2. Hello I'm in the process of looking at a 1951 Studebaker. I've attached some pics and was hoping you could share some advice with me. The copy and paste below is from the dealer who's selling the car. He's willing to negotiate the price and we'll be discussing the specifics of the car tomorrow so as far as me providing you with information to use in advising me (don't worry I won't hold you responsible for helping me make my decision). Considering he's willing to lower the price do you think this is too much to pay for this car? Is it a Commander??? State??? Landcruiser????? I'm sure you're a busy man but I could use some help.......btw I'm a 51 year old woman, Registered Nurse by profession, Private Pilot by Passion and need some advice. Thanks in advance Susan Robertson NCFlyGirl@nc.rr.com 1951 Studebaker; 4 door; suicide rear doors; S-10 chassis; V8; 350; automatic; air condition $24.500
