Hello again. Yes I am in the Los Angeles area of California. I have AAA auto insurence and since I wasnt at fault my rates dont go up. As soon as I take my car to a body shop the insurence men will come and see how much they want to give me. The main lower bumper and dagmar took the most damage as well as the fender pushing half the bumper some 7inchs into the wheel well and into the tire. Its because of this I can only drive it in circles. The drivers side door closes funny now and part of the windshild came out of its housing. Not to mention the paint job that will have to take place. The green was not original and I have always wanted to paint it condor yellow with a seafoam top...I guess by horrible luck I can now. The 97 dodge that hit me took the most damage though...a gash the size of Texas made by the dagmar as it slid past. its amazing no one was hurt. Well, I'll keep you guys informed with this ordeal. GM built these cars tough but yesterday while driving my 55, I was part of a horrible chain of events that left it with a twisted bumper and left fender. I was stopped at a unprotected innersection at my school waiting to make a left when a car attemping to turn into the parking lot I was exiting was hit by a SUV and shot that car into me. It has been a real depressing few days as you could imagine. If anyone in the club knows were I could find a replacement fender for my Buick Special, I would be most thankful. Here are pics of my car before it was hit. Hello ! I have a question regarding which oil filler/breather cap on the valve covers to put engine oil in. The drivers side or the passenger side of the engine. The Oil Breathers/filler caps seem to be aftermarket and have no markings on them. It is a 264 V8. Any help would be great! I ran into this site that produces adaptors for Modern Oil filters. Does anyone have any feed back stories on them? Thank you ! John
