  1. UBB1-ML-395739-ML- Welcome to the forum Zipp. I moved your question to the General Forum as this forum is for Classics only(Descriptions at top of this forum). Wayne
  2. Ok let me start off and say I'm new to the forum "Looks very nice btw". I'm not totally new building cars/trucks. I actually worked as a paint/body man in the Air force for 4 years but I also worked in a couple body shops before I joined the military. Now I am an Aircraft structures man in the Air force. Anyway I've been wanting to build a 55-57 chevy truck for a couple years now and I just found one for sale today near my house. Its a 56 3/4 ton that is pretty rough. It runs and drives "Have the original trans 4 speed manual" but the body is fairly rough. It needs a new hood and front fenders "They are there but pretty rusty". It needs new cab corners both inner and outer. It could probably use the whole cab floor replaced. The tail gate is pretty beat and has some home made rear bumper on it. The front bumper and chrome pieces are there but need some work. My question is, is this worth 800 bucks? Or should I just save up a little more $$$ and buy a better starting piece. I've worked on a lot of old cars but never had to pay for it myself, I just fixed them. Plus I don't know where a good place is for replacement parts either, I just moved to Utah and I'm still pretty new to the area. Any help would be great, thanks in advance -Zipp
