Thanks for the feedback - I do think it is the throw out bearing and would like to have the problem fixed - my main issue is where the heck to take it. I don't trust any mechanics on Cape Cod. Does anyone have suggestions in the Boston area?? Thanks

I found this forum today and hope someone can help. I have an 89 TC with a recently re-built clutch. I would like to sell the car within the next year, but am not happy with a whirring sound I assume has to do with shoddy clutch repair. I live on Cape Cod, MA and there are no reputable mechanics for this vehicle. Does anyone have suggestions regarding Boston area mechanics I might be able to leave the car with for a diagnostic? I appreciate your help David Kuehn
