  1. Greetings from over at the Buick site. My son is selling his project on ebay. AMC : 770 | eBay It has the service motor that AM put in as apperntly the original motors were prone to failure. The motor runs, we have driven it around the farm yard. The brakes do not work at all. The tires will air up, but not much tread. I can get a video of the motor running. It was so hot the day I took pictures, I didn't mess with it. You can contact him via ebay or email me @ buickman@ymail.com
  2. VELKOMMEN My Swedish friend. I see many different things , a skylark, a vette, a jag, yes yes. Very nice Rick "JUNGE" (as it was pronounced in Swede Homeland) Young
  3. 63's are fun and good looking too. All glass and sheet metal on the top are same as 62 - 64 Pont, Buick Chev Olds Check the floor boards. I cold hammered mine out of steel sheet metal Brake/steering/exhaust parts readily available. Love those aluminum front drums and so do rodders. You don't rebuild a nailhead or dynaflow for same price as small block chevy Don't worry about hard surfacing the valve seats in the heads as Buick used lots of nickle Original interior material available at several places if you want to spend $100 a yard
  4. Why ^is ^ everybody ^talking^ like ^this^ am i missing^k^ something <?> Where do ^I^ find a 63 lesabre or simiilar body style ^?^ I have seen the electra but never a lesabre/vicki/wildcat
  5. Or what the heck were their names? I can't find that thread with all your cartoons. I was going to download them and go to Walgreens to have a book made for Danvers. But ran out of time. Time for more adventures of the BOOOHICK. R Y
  6. Hi Barb you could try posting a video of the engine running on YOUTUBE and posting the link here. There are many tech supporters lurking (I mean posting here) that can help you.
  7. Very nice. Luxurious Buick comfort at it's finest.
  8. * There is lots of info to be digested. A good place to start is the BCA website. Here ; http://www.buickclub.org/BCA%20JUDGING%20MANUAL/BCAjudgingrev2.pdf Perhaps a simpler link could made and put the registration form. This is where I was directed before heading to Rochester for our 1st National The judging thing initially seemed a bit too "Hoity Toity" for me. I now know different . I opted for the Driven Class.

    Thanks

If you did not have the Reuben Sandwich in the Hotel you missed the best ever. Corned beef like I've never had in Iowa. Jack & John the Lobstah and Chowdah were awesome. The whale watch was also so cool. My sinuses are sure missing the ocean air. Thanks a million to all your volunteers. Ran into friends originally from Iowa at "CHEERS".
  10. My 63(black tires, white top & red) which is now back home (via Winnipeg, Canada) thanks to the help of a certain Hawkeye Chapter Directer (and new BOD member). It is of course less the 2010 Graphics & has lots of new changes for the better.
  11. AHHHHHHHH YES,,,,,I saw the "CLASSIC" badge as well. It was built 7-75. Probably on 7-11-75. Perhaps the tale will be told
  12. Hey All, The 75 is on the block @ ebay. Buick : LeSabre | eBay Dive in and help yourself. I've got another Buick in my sights and most of you know of my self imposed rule of one classic in the stable. Rick

  14. Oh somebody had to bring up the SPAM:D . If I brought the ingredients for my SPAM RIZZOs, I would not get past the Airport Security.
  15. Welcome Welcome 63's are soooooo nice. This will be a great car and yes, all top parts (convertible or hard top) are the same as any BPOC (Buick, Pontiac, Olds or Chevy) including front windshield. You have come for the cars and will stay for the people. Many new friends are waiting here to greet you. Your'e just a stones throw to Charlotte, NC where our nationals will be in 2012. Done or not bring it. Rick
  16. I am truly saddened by the news of the loss of Charles. The Buick & Classic Car Community will miss this great gentleman. A symbolic hoist of the Silver Landau Cup to toast Charles. God's comfort to his family and friends. Rick & Janet Young

  20. I have a friend who is looking for the piece that goes between the rear bumper and body of a 74 RIV. It's as wide as the car and about 4" wide. Anybody out there who knows where to find one?
  21. I can tell you that 7-11-75 was a Friday, as that was the day we got married. So that might make sense that a Friday was the last build day. Mine does not have one:(.
