My father recently passed away and left me his beautiful, almost all original 1964 Oldsmobile Cutlass 2 door sports coupe (330ci 290 HP Ultra High Compression). The car has 20,000 original miles. My dad told me before he passed away that the car was overfilled with oil a bit and before I took it out, I was to drain some out. I tried to do this over the weekend but found the factory drain plug with what appeared to be similar to a "Torx" style hole in it but was actually 9 point. I tried several torx sockets to see if I could find one that might fit the center of the plug (it's smaller in diameter) but nothing seems to fit. Is there a special plug I need to get this out? I've never seen a plug like this! I am hoping someone can help me out. Thanks for all replies. Craig
