1. :(This T.C. has been sold. Hated to see it go. :)Good news is-it went to a good home and will be taken care of as it should be. Just wanted to say THANKS to all the members here for all the help and information that has been provided here. Wish you all top down weather.
2. Here are a few more. If interested I can PM all pictures.
3. Here are a few pictures. I took many more, this is just to give an idea of the condition.
4. G & G, Thanks for the reply. I had to find out how to reduce my pixels. Think I got it. Thanks Again.
5. Seems as if you guys & gals don't have much of a problem, but I sure as the heck do. What is the best way to show you the car I have for sale? I can email all who would like to see but what a pain.
6. Due to health reasons I need to sell my 1990 White on Tan 3.0L V6. Speedo reads 27K but would guess more like 40-50K. This car is not “showroom ready”, seems to run good and with a little TLC this diamond could shine again. Includes umbrella, tool kit, and Red Manual. Asking $3000.00. Drive it home from Palm Beach, Florida area. Will get pictures together soon.
7. Find your first car or the one you drove to high school or college; hopefully your car brochure is available. This has to be one of the neatest websites whether you have gasoline in your veins or not. It features the original factory brochures for nearly every American car you have ever owned. Pick the manufacturer, the year and the model. Sorry, no Porsches, BMW's or Austin Healys www.lov2xlr8.no/broch1.html
8. Lkvr, that is the very best instructions I've seen on any part of our TC. Thanks for sharing. Does Mario clavijo have any other posted instructions? Again, Thanks for the post.
9. Best bet is to ask Rick. Been to his shop before and am sure he will steer you straight.
10. What is the price for pick up and being it is "is on primer" can your shop paint it the color of buyers reqest? Of course the top would be inspected before, to see if I'm interested and after to assure no subgrade work.
11. I don't have the talent to draw a diagram, but this is what I have tried in the past when somtimes the pull down won't secure or release properly. You may have tried it already, if not ---- Use the switch and press it as if to release the top, now push both sides of the top down at the pins to catch the latch (may need another person to hold one corner down), while holding it down activate the switch as to pull it down. If this works, now push the release botton again, I had success in the past doing this. You may want to try this in different combinations. I would take a picture, but no camera:o. There is NO diagram in servive manual I have. Best of Luck.
12. And how did the Logos turn out? Did it stay with the portion that was removed or to the one in the car?
13. TC Toy, The radio you speak of, does it have the "joystick" to control the speakers? I did google circa 1990 radios got station info but not radio. Thankful any help you can provide.
14. My Bad. Shouuld have read 89 TC-16V. Was wondering if a visit to the classic car place in N.J. had been made, as it was only a few miles from his home. I did not find this one on e-bay. The one at Liberty looked pretty .
