  1. When I rebuilt both my 26 and 27 Buicks I got the pistons from EGGE. I sent in an old piston. I was told that the rods are not centered but offset. so I went with EEGE. Very happy, about $1200 for Six pistons, rings and wrist pins.

  4. Found a complete rear axle with wheels for sale. Wooden wheels with B on hub cap. Tires size are 5.25-5.50 x 18 4 ply. Could these be Built parts. Guy only wants $50 or BO in Maine
  5. I am looking for a quite muffler for both my 26 Buick Model 26-27 and my 27 Buick Model 27-27. Now I have a Walker 18253. It is the right size and looks but is kind of loud. I did buy one from muffler company in Hemmings but was even louder. thanks for any help.
  6. The rubber fuel lines on my two antique cars are being eaten away by the 10% ethnol in our fuel. Are there black rubber fuel lines that ethnol doesn't hurt ? Or what would be a good additive to gas to fix my problem ? Thanks
  7. I have both a 26 and 26 Standard, do you think curve is about the same. I had the old 27 windshield and had one made for around $85, make sure to use safety glass. I can made a pattern of mine. The curve I think is the same.

  9. I have a 26 and a 27 Buick which I turned intake upside down and used a down draft single barrel carb. I know it is nor orginal but sure runs a lot better with electric fuel and fuel regulator to about 2 1/2 pounds pressure.

  11. My 26 Buick radiator has developed just a tiny leak. Is there a sealer I could use that won't hurt the cooling system. It has an excellent honeycomb rad. and hate to see it soldered. Thanks

  16. Having three 27 Buick exhaust manifolds repaired. What is a good black exhaust paint ? Every can I have says to paint manifold and then start engine right up to cure the paint. It will be impossible to do this as I have other work to do on engine after installing the manifold. Looking for paint that doesn't have to be heated up after painting , Thanks

  24. To 26-25 Buick I had a 36 Chev. distr. that slipped right into end of Gen. Need to get smaller diam wires for newer dist cap. Is it best to use copper wires ? Thanks for your help
