I had and now have a 27 Buick Woodie. I had all my parts chromed and never had any points deducted at a judging meet. Looks better than nickel and stands up very well.

Would a 26-27 Standard fit.

Looking for mirrors for my 48 ford Conv. I have a right side mirror but is useless. If my wife is the passenger she can tell me whats going on. I would mind mounting mirrors onto door below vent windows. THANKS FOR ANY HELP.

I had a 26 Buick and now a 27 Buick. I use a 28 or later Buick distributer. Fits right in and can get cap, rotor, cond. and points for around $50 at any auto parts store. They used the same parts into the 50-'s in Chv. 6 Cyl.

I use both 6 and 12 volt Battery Tenders. The only problem I have had is if the battery is real low the tender won'y work. I have been buying them that has a charger it it also. They work very good on a very low battery. I have had my lawn mower battery 7 years and still going strong.

I have a complete 27 Standard rear end but think it is differant

I need to grind the frame on my 48 Ford to install a spring hanger. The gas line is about 3" from where I need to grind. Would I be better to remove tank and gas line or cover gas line with something. This is a $84,00 48 Ford Conv. so don't want a fire. Thanks for any help.

I had the same leak on my 26 Standard took both manifolds to machine shop and they grind level. No more problems.

I checked the bracket I have. it is a one piece unit Part # 255690. I couldn't it in old Buick parts catalog. It is 1927 either Standard or Master not sure. Can send picture if you want -

My 48 ford car steering box has some play. How much should steering turn without moving the tires. Thanks

fIGURED IT OUT JUST PULL CABLE OUT. -
I had a 26 Buick Standard and now a 27 standard Woodie wagon. On both Buicks I fliped the intake manifolds and used a 41 Chevy Carb. Never run so Good. Also put in a 28 Buick dist. with mechancial advance in side the dist. Can get all the parts at NAPA. Good Luck
