  1. Tom, have you got enough there for a patern? My brother does this kind of work. He can make it look just like the original. He is located in So.Cal. If you want, I can PM his phone number to you. We are in the Hudson club, and are very familiar with Hudsons. I have a 36 Hudson too.
  2. Alan, Thanks for the quick reply Dany
  3. Can anyone tell me who supplied the factory wire wheels on the Roosevelt? The hubs have a flange where they bolt to the drums, that look kind of like a sprocket with flat teeth. The teeth are 3/8" wide and are spaced 3/8" apart. Thanks, Dany
  4. I have front and rear axles for a Roosevelt, complete with wire wheel hubs and hub caps. I don't have the wheels. I was going to use them for a Hudson powered racer project, but changed my mind. I thought I might offer them here before I put them on ebay. Any offers?
  5. I bought a front and rear axle at a swap meet, that I was told came from a Marmon Roosevelt. They are pretty complete except for the rear cover. They have brakes on all four wheels, and the wire wheel hubs and caps are there. The caps have a logo on them that looks like a shield, a little wider at the top than at the bottom, and an R in the shield. Can anyone positively identify these as Roosevelt? If so, what wheels fit? And what else used the same wheels? What size would they be? Thank you.
  6. My Dad bought a Murphy bodied Hudson four door convert a couple of years ago. It has a '27 chassis, and an all aluminum body with factory Hudson fenders that were widened. It also has Carl Zeis (?spelling)headlights. The front doors open suiside style, and the rears open normally, but they share hinge pins. I think I've seen Deusenbergs with the same arrangement. With this car being hand built by the same people that hand built the Deusenbergs, shouldnt it be on the list of true classics as well?
