  11. is it actually a Cord? Graham and Hupmobile purchased the body dies from Cord and produced the Hollywood and Skylark. Could it be one of those? Is it front wheel drive and does it have the headlights in the guards? That should be a good indicator to if it is actually a Cord or a Graham/Hupmobile
  12. not an uncommon accurance. they are made of die cast or pot metal and weaken over time. Over here we have have new ones cast in brass when we require them. Good luck finding some (try this guy nbutters@eagle.ca. He does new castings of Graham bits and advertises on the GOCI website)
  13. Saw printed on the rear spare wheel cover of a Model A. "Driving the kids inheritance"... I have told dad, spend all ya got, I don't want to argue with my sisters, but remember the cars mine..... (Yes its in writing)

    What is it

There used to be an Austro Daimler in the VDC, I think it was owned by Frank Hands(dec), not sure what happened to it though. Frank died in the 80's, so it probably went to Europe or the US after he passed. It was an early 20's tourer with the second screen (Cant remember if it was duel cowl, but dont think so). Ask around, there will be pictures somewhere, could put you in contact with the archivist for the VDC if you wish.
