  1. What I'm looking for is a simple bolt-on muffler/tips replacement. Don't want to mess with the cat or the exhaust pipes otherwise. When I went to: http://www.performance-air-filters.com/sm/chrysler~muffler~parts.html I narrowed it down to this combination: #50051 Flowtech muffler. #59905 Flowtech twin tips. that would preserve the original twin-tips look and presumably fit one another with 2-1/4" pipe. What I don't understand is that the same site offers mufflers/tips with both larger & small size pipes (from 2" to 3"). Is 2-1/4" the original size? Am I correct in thinking that the other sizes are for more complex modifications in which the entire exhaust/cat path from the engine is being modified? Thanks in advance for expert advice! <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
  2. My TC is in transit, so I can't check this out personally ... How does the non-airbag steering wheel mount to the steering column? I know that if you pry off the padding over the spokes, the wheel is revealed to be a Momo (stamping on one of the spokes), a high-class Italian wheelmaker. Normally Momo wheels attach to columns with six small allen screws around the horn button, with a screw centered at the top/bottom. I ask this because I am getting a Nardi wheel for the car. Nardi also uses a six-screw pattern, but theirs has the screw centered at the sides, not the top/bottom. So if the TC has the standard Momo screw pattern, then I will know what sort of adapter to get. Thanks for any feedback. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
  3. I found this website: http://www.performance-air-filters.com/sm/chrysler~muffler~parts.html offering various aftermarket performance mufflers for the TC. I wouldn't mind a little more Deep Throat for the car, and am wondering whether anyone here has done a growlier muffler - one of these or some other. Impressions? Recommendations?

  5. I am about to get a TC and wonder if any existing owner can recommend a good mechanic to take care of it in San Francisco or nearby. Thanks!
  6. I am considering purchasing a TC and wonder about parts/service in/around San Francisco. Is this car still supported by Chrysler dealerships? If not, can anyone recommend service/parts shops? Thanks!
