  1. '57 seats are definitely different than '55-'56.
  2. Sharp Oldsmobile! On a minor note, I believe that the Olds should be a 4-speed Jetaway Hydra-Matic transmission if original. The 3-speed Hydra-Matic, or Roto Hydra-matic, debuted in 1961.
  3. Even though it was never enforced, I don't understand why the rule was changed. It doesn't seem like a required price for what you are selling is an unreasonable requirement.
  4. "To keep this thread a bit more on subject let's see some more buses...please..." How is it that this thread not keeping on the subject? The thread title is "Greyhound Bus Terminals" and that is all I see or discussed unless something has been deleted.
  5. Here is a current Google Earth image of the Cleveland bus station.
  6. http://www.searchtempest.com/
  7. Upon closer inspection I think you're correct. The "instruction sheet" included in the OP's attachments threw me off. From what I see in the images, I think that "instruction sheet" page is totally unrelated.
  8. It is an evaporative-type air cooler (desert cooler, swamp cooler, etc.). It is technically not an air conditioner though it does cool the air by evaporation.
  9. Obviously you wouldn't want this for use in your publication but this is me taking delivery of a new one on May 9, 1985. I would like to have it back in this condition!
  10. I had this dilemma with my Hudson (resilver and rechrome). I found it far less expensive to buy a new Chevrolet reproduction mirror and retrofit the stem to the new mirror. Otherwise the mirrors were the same.
  11. Although not a Buick expert, with free labor (yourself) it would probably be around $40,000 as a ballpark figure. If you needed to hire it out, much more.
  12. I wonder if that's Special interior, Century interior, or a commercial interior? The bolsters look upscale. Maybe the inserts are commercial grade though. I don't know how the factory done it for the commercial grade.
  13. It sure is, but not $65,000-cool, in my opinion.
  14. It looks like somebody did it right by looking at the pictures. Nice car.
  15. Back in those days the smoother shifts were desirable. The dual-coupling Jetaway Hydra-Matic was not as bulletproof as the pre-'56 Hydra-Matic.
  16. Good question. There were 27 Cincinnati-area "Hit King" 2010 Camaros commemorating Pete Rose's 4256 hits.
  17. What series Flowmaster did you have in the Corvette?
  18. I had Flowmasters on a '69 GTO and currently have them on a '67 Camaro. As helfen stated above, it's all a matter of which series Flowmaster you have. Also, as stated above, it matters where the muffler is placed. I used the quieter series on the Camaro and GTO and is was not obnoxiously loud and no drone.

  20. None were NOS pumps. They were all new stock pumps.
  21. I've had 2 Airtex pumps on my Hudson and none lasted more than a year. I had another brand (from JC Whitney) which I can't remember the brand which lasted a couple years.
  22. I think most car magazines are now as you describe. I started a subscription to Car Craft few years ago and canceled after I got the first issue.
  23. Not sure where the "10" comes into play but it looks as if "T" is Golden Light Tan.
