I apologize for how brutal this is going to sound but in today's market I think you would have a hard time giving it away. I say that because I've just finished trying to clear the estate of my late uncle where we had piles of parts (mostly for model A's). We couldn't sell them even at a give-away price and, in fact, we were forced to abandon nearly all of them. I don't know what he new owner of the property did but most likely they all went for scrap.
This is where a donation to a non profit or club might make sense.

I remember such creations used at Disney Land on Main Street.

Will a spring for another application work? It might be easier to search for spring dimensions and coil pressure. I have springs in my Model A Ford engine I got from The McDonald Douglas aircraft salvage shop in Los Angeles.

I see lots of parts and pieces. Can you step back a ways and take a photo that shows the whole car or wha is left?

I don't think too many door panels were just this type of material, they were usually covered with something. Trucks may have been an exception.

Just a bit of normal panal repair, no sweat! It will need a paint job anyway.

That is a simple valve. Have you thought of running both sides over sandpaper on a piece of glass to smooth, and ensure the mating surfaces are flat?

Might be hard to sell at the listed price, but then who knows? A rare specimen.

You can't get if you don't ask! Maybe send them a bill for your work, $35.00.

That shop looks like the one the folks from pickers bought and restored.

I had a Delco switch very similar and had a key made for it and it was a Briggs & Stratton blank used.

Look up EGGE MACHINE they may have engine parts. Olsen's gaskets can supply gaskets.

Linoleum is used in many houses over wood plank floors and holds up well.

I used to drive the Los Angeles freeway system when I lived there, maybe not over 60 MPH but never felt too vulnerable or insecure.

Until you find one you can use Plexiglas, heat, & a dremal tool to make a substitute.

Are you shooting for an accurate restoration? Linoleum (Marmolian) is easy to use. wood would look good also.

The only puzzling thing is it looks like he had no operations in the front of the vehicle.

Most States have a bonded title option. It is used to insure the car is legit with no liens and such. Your DMV benefits, (initial & anual fees), by having your car titled, and will help if it can, provided you get a good person at the counter.
