may hold a little while, but not long, i did mine with and its made it about 4 months so far

arizona parts may have nos strips available, each side is separate. last i checked they were 400$ each

the vacuum and wiring harness is essentially the same just in different locations, you may want to lengthen wires, shorten wires and or hoses. the flywheel the 16V is the one you need and you just bolt it up to the 8V in place of the auto flywheel and torque converter, its a easy swap. i wired a 16V motor into my 92 dodge daytona use a 2.5 8V wiring harness, so it know there really isnt any differences that will give you any problems. ive heard Alan say the wiring is the same before, vacuum harness is essentialluy the same also. shop manual for the motors can be of help

pretty much a straight swap, you need to change exchange flywheels between the two motors and im pretty sure u probly can run the 8v on the 16v engine computer but it may not run optimally. wiring is the same

sounds like the grease inside the cluster that lubes the gears that turn the #s turned hard and now its none functioning. can be fixed, gears are available, many ppl have done it. reconditioned unit for rakes is like 600$, its a fair cost considering the system

been off since July 5 and has just been under a car cover for rain

i lost a timing belt on my 16v daytona and basically it was exactly like what you said happened. i was driving, then car lost all power and refused to start. was it turning and just not starting or was it powerless with no starter function? i had all the cranking in the world.

electrical stuff doesnt like water or a lose ground either

i have a complete system abs pump/accumulator/reservoir removed from my 90 TCand put into store about 4 years ago. it worked fine then. could cut you a deal on it if interested

i had same symptoms with my 16V that blew the fuel pressure regulator, it fouled the plugs, blew black smoke, missed, and still managed to run but pumped my vacuum lines full of fuel. changed the regulator and runs like new.

i have a couple of them out of the car sitting in my basement

sounds like a deal i definately wouldnt have made. no cars leave my yard til paid in full

making my way to Carlisle in about 2 hrs. nobody who planned to be there asked for any parts. would have loved to unload some of it and save ppl shipping but i guess nobody needs anything. if anybody comes up with something whether its a spare stock rim or rear view mirrorm interior parts, hard top pull down, door panels, etc please post by 3pm please. i have an empty truck bed and can bring a good amount of stuff

There is an amp i believe, but i know for sure i had a stock radio that lit up but played no station and i swapped another in and that one worked fine.

anything is possible. sounds like you car might have gremlins are you have an aftermarket radio and speakers in it and who knows what else might be jury rigged

i believe the wiring behind the radio you are talking about runs juice to the antenna so that it goes up when radio is on and down when it is off

the set of wheels on mine are factory and the inserts are not black, they are very much a silver blue color, mine were so dirty i thought they were black

havent tried the cruise and i dont have access to a scanner

i dont think i have the driver side window switch any longer, but i'l look

i used a powerwasher, krud kutter and a toothbrush to clean mine 2 weekends ago
