  2. that gives you about 9years to fix and drive the car. Jeff Mealer Mt. Juliet,TN 1965 Buick Riviera 1960 Cadillac Coupe DeVille 1965 Pontiac Bonneville
  3. I have a bad problem of seeing a cheap car and seeing in my head what it would look like when their done.My wallet will not tell my brain to save my money and buy a completed car.You take alot of time to fix these cars up then some guy wants to buy yours on a moments notice.Sorry, that guy would pay dearly for grief and time spent.i'm showing a car this weekend that i have driven about 30 feet backwards(yes,it goes forward)that i've had about a year now.Not all the electrical problems are fixed yet so i don't drive it on the road. Some guy will cross my path and want to know if it is for sale.Yeah, suuuurrreee it is. Jeff Mealer Mt. Juliet,TN 1965 Buick Riviera 1965 Pontiac Bonneville 1960 Cadillac"Satan's Car" Coupe Deville(this car will NEVER be fixed)
  4. When you look at today's marketing though more hi-tech,it still doesn't match with the older stuff.I personally like watching the old car commercials and the way the announcer would tell you about the car.Especially the ones that bombed in the marketplace.Everyone knows the phrase "corithian leather".what is your favorite commercial/slogan? Jeff Mealer Mt. Juliet,TN 1965 Buick"ask a man who drives one"Riviera 1965 Pontiac Bonneville 1960 Cadillac "car with no brakes right now"(my slogan)Coupe DeVille

  7. I agee with Gary, nothing is cooler than a 65 Riv.why?i own one and is driven every weekend. The AACA should look into filming their events and selling the tapes,i'd buy them. Also show restorations of classic cars and how they are restored to new.Could be a new avenue of money for the club.If they did a good job of filming the shows they might be picked up by ESPN,SPEED,SPIKE,etc. to air on TV.After attending 100's of car shows and cruise-ins I find that it's the orginal restored cars that get the attention.I saw a kid about 10 years old ask his dad, while looking at the back seat of my 60 Coupe DeVille,"how do you get back there?"We're losing a generation to 4 door egg cars. 8. when you go camping in it,where do you park it?in the middle of the lake? Jeff Mealer Mt. Juliet,TN

  10. what is the oddest feature or option on a car you've seen?this can be dealer installed as well. Jeff Mealer Mt. Juliet,TN 1965 Buick Riviera 1965 Pontiac Bonneville 1960 Cadillac Coupe DeVille
  11. I would like all the money that I've spent on car repair. Jeff Mealer Mt. Juliet,TN (too many clubs to list that i'm in right now) 1965 Buick Riviera 1965 Pontiac Bonneville 1960 Cadillac Coupe DeVille
  12. oh.another story about the caddy, the wheels on the car.It had regular hubcaps on it but i had to chase down the front passenger hubcap 5 times, once on the interstate.Ah the joy of watching your hubcap out run your car.So i gave Cory Coker a raise and bought their wire wheels.the truck on the right runs like a sewing machine.
  13. it's only fun when you don't get the repair bills.that car also has a broken gas pedal right now and is running at half speed which i'm not sure what that is because the speedometer screamed at me one day and quit.oh well, the car was not intended to be a drag car.signed the owner of "Christine". Jeff Mealer 1115 Quarry RD Mount Juliet,TN 37122
  14. it will actually do both .com and .org.just tried both.go figure.
  15. When I was a child i saw a 63 black on black riviera on a buick showroom floor in,yes, the early 70's.the car belongs to the owner of the dealership. He has passed away but his wife still has it and is in the dealer's garage.I restored one just like it in the late 80's.In the early 90's came across a 1965 black on black GS Riviera. In 2001,I bought a local 65 Riviera white, motor locked up,sheep wool covered seats, and three hubcaps.I"ordered"(restored the car)it the way i wanted it.Black on black with the rallye wheels. Jeff Mealer Mt. Juliet,TN 1965 Buick Riviera 1960 Cadillac Coupe DeVille 1965 Pontiac Bonneville

A 1960 Cadillac Coupe Deville white w/blknwhite interior.acted very badly this whole year, had a "nice" dash fire.has a mind of it's own.eats carburators.also hangs out at the local gas station. My mechanic is not very "fond" of her.But oh how pretty she is at the cruise-ins and car shows.
