Rear spring u-bolts on my '31 Roadster need replaced due to worn threads that no longer hold nuts tight. Any way to get old u-bolts out and new ones in without raising the rear portion of the body? Or, would it be best to cut an access hole in floor panel under my rumble seat to access top of rear frame crossmember and u-bolts? Could make a sheet metal plate to close & seal hole. Just hate thought of cutting a hole in otherwise perfect body. Any advice appreciated. RW
