My tranny is just starting to slip a little. Is there a <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="font-style: italic">GOOD</span></span> additive out there that can make it a little better until it gets time to rebuild?

1988 Red/Saddle Reatta 93k mi. 2nd owner. Everything works but still battling (after 2years) a pre-ignition problem (currently in shop for that and deolco coil conversion, new accumulator, and getting that 20% or so exhaust mainfold power robbing flashing problem taken care of (that Barney Eaton discovered). Fixed the radio cracking (capacitor problem) myself thanks to D-Terry. Has high flow cat, flowmaster with dual outlets. Runs ok looks, handles and great! Still considering a later model 3100 conversion (those run great!) Anyone have info on that or possibly a 1992-3 or so 3800 supercharged conversion???

What about a good synthetic tranny fluid. I read somewhere that these can lower trans temp as much as 5-10 deg.?

I have a 99 Century with a 3100 that will outrun my Reatta! I mean this thing gets up and goes. What can I do to the Reatta to get more torque, with in reason, (baring the obvious engine transplants, supercharging and NOS). Thanks,

I am not getting any response while in diag mode from the ESC. I have followed the proceedures in the manual. I went to Auto Zone purchased a new knock sensor and still no avail. Manual says I may need a new MEM-CAL unit (which I assume is the PROM). I am replacing the accumulator on my 88 and was advised to do a complete purge. Some time ago there was article on this and it refered to a site that had purging inst. I took a look at it and it seemed to be a rather lengthly and complicated (for me) process. Could someone paraphrase this please? Thanks, Mike G Wichita Falls TX
