My understanding is that 1939-1952 will fit the 1953 Special. The number on the manifold is 1313674-6

The engine from a 1953 Powerglide car would also do.

Can anyone tell me the proper placement of the red round decal that reads F over top of 263 in white. I have seen it on the valve cover, but in different places.

Bob, Thanks for the reply. I do have another question. There is a pump on Ebay and it says it fits 1953 Cadillac, Buick, and Olds. Would you know if this is accurate. They don't list a part number. Thanks Fred

Can anyone tell me if the power steering from a 1953 Roadmaster will fit a 1953 Special (Or the power steering from any other model/year)?
