  1. Looks like the trim under the taillights of a '48 Chevrolet. There was originally a steel backer with mounting screws. But, something looks a bit different. All four sides would have folded over to hold the backer plate. This does no appear to have done that.

  2. Looking at this I thought the clamp nuts would be an identifier.  Then I started wondering could it be for a continental kit, No it is not.  The tire must be a tall tire due to the size.  Any ideas ?  I have had this to several swap meets with no ID.  It is too good for the scrap yard.  But, it is too big to haul around.  If a friend would take to Hershey it might sell there.........

  4. This spare tire cover appears to be for a large dia tire.  The cover measures 35.76 center to center on the chrome t-nuts on the face.  The tread measures 6-3/8"  Any ideas as to the application ?

  5. Not sure where to post this. I have a rumble seat lid with a T Handle that made me think it was a '31 Chevrolet.  Unfortunately the lid is not a Chevrolet lid.  But, the T handle is the exact same handle.  I know there is a possibility that the handle was changed at some time.  Is there anyone out there that knows if the same handle was used on other makes of cars.  The lid has rounded corners.    I posted a while back about the lid with a pic and no one could ID the lid.  Hoping for a handle ID.

    Thanks !

  7. Yes,  Someone else wrote that on the lid.  The handle looks exactly like a '31 Chev.  That is what attracted me to this.  The key is the rounded corners opposite the hinges.  I saw some lids that made me think Dodge, but the handle is different.   Was hoping the numbers I provided were part numbers.  Maybe not,  maybe they are casting numbers.
