thanks for the advice i fixed my problem by taking apart my turn signal switch and cleaning off the contacts with some paint thinner and put it all back together and it all works thanks again for the help

hi guys this is kind of hard to explain so bare with me! im having problems with my brake lights both coming on at the same time the problem is that one will light up but not the other but when i turn on the turn signal flasher for the brake light thats on it will start flashing and then the brake light that wasnt working will work so ill turn off the turn signal and the brake light that was working in the first place wont(hope you can understand that)So now the brake light that wasnt working in the first place is working but not the one that was working in the beginning so everytime i turn on the turn signal for the brake light thats working it starts flashing and seems like it transfers the brake light power to the one thats not working ,then on top of all that sometimes i step on the brakes and i cant get ethier brake lights to work at all! can anyone help me??

does anyone know where i can get a manifold that has more then one 2 barrel carb setup for my 54 ford 239 v8 ohv

man i got a 54 that needs one to be replaced too!!!!!!! you can get a new crossmember for the 55-56 years(which sucks for me cuz it wont work on a 54)from www.Dennis-Carpenter.com the price is 375.00 and does not have the motor mount bracket! hope this helps tim

Hey victor I don't know if this will help but I have a 51 with a gyro-matic and I had the carb rebuilt and every time I would reach about 40 to 50 mph it was like the engine was starving for gas so after trying many things I took off the rod going to the dash pot on top of the carb and Ihaven't had a problem since.

The only way I was able to line mine up was to turn the motor by hand using the fan and having someone inside the car watching for it to line up.
