  1. Two brothers that I used to know collected odd ball and orphan cars. they had several Powells, including one wagon,, My neighbor in Castaic Ca had three and the remains of a couple in his yard. They are probably still there. Another friend had one in Kernville Ca and it burned in a wildfire. I had a Powell scooter about 50 years ago

  9. The engine is a Cushman Husky. Cushman always built their own engines until the OMC merger. Be sure the crank seal protrudes a quarter inch to properly center the mag stator plate

  16. Many Shriners used to ride Cushman Eagles in parades The scooters were all festooned with all sorts of accessories and geegaw. Cushman began building Shriner models to sell to the various temples. They had Shriner badging and all sorts of flash, windshields etc. they're pretty sought after by scooter collectors.
