  1. Anyone recognize this one? I tried all my books, must not have a good enough set of Old Car Logo books! Nice big clear letter A
  2. I have asked my contact for more information. He responded today that he will do what he can to get pictures and check the body number as well as wheelbase. Stay Tuned!
  3. I hate it when I cant figure out how to get a photo off my phone messenger service and post it on the web! I had a guy tell me about this 1933 Studebaker he knew about that is in a barn up in northern California. So I asked for information and pictures. He sent me four pictures from his phone to my phone. I downloaded them but cant find where they went! Anyway, I am sure he said they want $6000 for the car, it looks pretty straight and all there. He says it is an 8 cylinder car, but did not give me any more info. So I dont know what wheelbase it is. I have no interest in another project car, so if anyone wants to get info, I will share his phone number. He can text the pictures to you!
  4. Anyone have a recommendations? Need to rebuild the starter in a 1931 Cadillac. Anywhere around the Cleveland - Youngstown Ohio area? Or should we box it up and send it to someone? It will need armature re-wound for sure.
  5. I have someone "on the way" form the east coast to see the 32 Cadillac. He is at 80 grand. I told him to bring money.
  6. This is another one that needs a new caretaker. A very thorough restoration was done several years ago and it was a father to son "gift". The son drove it a few times and ran in a parade or two. It has not been driven much at all since the restoration. Hope that will change with a new owner! Lots of extras, such as grill guard, dual side mounts, luggage trunk and rack, 6 volt alternator conversion is about the only non-31 change. Recent new tires and tubes. Seems like a good starting price is around $15,000
  7. WOW-- I thought that if I cut the price until I bleed, it would be GONE! How about if I open up to "Will Trade" for a vintage midget or sprint car? Maybe something else? I REALLY do not need any more cars at all... So I am not sure why I am even doing this. BUT, I do not fit in the March. My feet are too dang big and I am too tall, my shoulders dont fit under the down-tubes.!
  8. Yes, I know the car owner wants to have it off his plate... I have the car here inside my garage and I sure would like the use of my garage space so I can start working on my 29 Cad 341B. No room to do that until the 32 is sold.
  9. Having just attended the Fallbrook Western National, the thought came to mind that this would be a great car to have if a person was going to travel to AACA events and wanted a comfortable DPC or maybe even HPOF tour car. Very low miles since new. A special order conversion with documentation, and some dealer "goodies" still new in the box to show off. AND the price, well, how about I lower it to "sweeten up the deal" Lets talk about $7500... How is that?
  10. Great meet. Was happy that I could attend. Thanks to all that made the effort to make it a successful event!
  11. OK All you guys. You got off the subject of the 32 Cadillac and started talking about the Cord at Hershey. WRONG subject here! Let's get back to the 32 Cad 355 Convertible that I am trying to find a new home for! Bill WANTED six figures, but he also wants to SELL THIS CAR. I have it here in my shop and I WANT MAY SHOP SPACE BACK. What am I saying? -- Well BLUNTLY,: Where are those three different folks that made offers? NOW they need to get back in this ASAP... I NEED room so I can start my 29 Cad project! How MUCH? well, 70 was on the table, Bill said no.. NOW things are changed. Where is that 70+ offer?
  12. Another call from Bill. He asked if I kept the numbers for any of the three guys that made an offer that he did not want to accept. Seems that they should call me and talk.
  13. Just had a call from Bill, says he would be open to a reasonable offer. I have the car here with me. He has no room for it. Actually, I could use the space too! Winter is coming, I have a couple cars outside that need to come in.
  14. This race car was found quite intact. A restoration has been going on and getting close to completion. Still have a few ideas about what it is, but would like to get more thoughts. Look close at the rear suspension and the front spring hardware. This is a 2-man car, long wheelbase and it did have the 1918 T engine sitting in it when found. Owner will make it street legal, thus the headlights were added. No, not a Miller.
  15. My Aunt Sara's Cadillac has less than 32,000 original miles. She kept it in the garage and drove it to church on Sunday. REALLY! Sara knew this was a special car and kept it pristine. Still has original dealer "goodies" Cadillac Script Maglite kit and emergency first aid kit, embossed chamois and the often seen Cadillac hat. She kept the original tires when I told her the tires were too old to be safe, even though they look great. They are in the trunk of someone wanted to show the cars as it was originally. I have the car here in Napa Ca. I see one advertised for well over 10 grand. We want this one to sell and are not holding out for big money. $9000 or best cash offer will be fine. Video Link:
  16. HA! I have about 80 now! -- Only ONE more car I want to add to the excess.... Offy powered Watson Roadster.. Got one? hehehehe....
  17. Shawn, Actually, Yes it is. I was just thinking I should check in and see if anyone has asked for info. I have been busy with other things and not checking! Actually have missed a few messages!
  18. Fresh Pictures. Car is out and cleaned up and engine tested for compression.
  19. This is a nice car ready to drive like it is right now. An older restoration that looks good. Not a show car. I could tell you this is a fine car that would be ready for show and shine. I could tell you it is ready for Pebble Beach, but I am not going to do that because it is not that car. This is a driver, and a nice solid great Cadillac like it is . This is the long wheel base chassis that was also used on the V12 cars, so it is a BIG Cadillac! Shows well like it is. Priced quite reasonable and needs to find a new home. I am helping the owner who recently asked me to help with bringing the car back to life after languishing in storage for some time. Just about the 100,000 mark is where he wants to be. But it needs to go. I have it here at my place in Napa Ca.
  20. yes that is a Pierce Arrow behind it. and a 1970 Dodge Charger R/T
  21. OK--- NEW information! I now have the chassis number for the car! 24/AM170 This confirms it is a real MARCH chassis! Built in 1970. Now it can be identified and anyone that knows how to check history for this car can check the records. I FINALLY got help from someone that really did know where to look for the number and I went right to it! ALL the other guys that claimed to know where it was were totally WRONG WRONG WRONG! Price NOW--- $9500 -- It should be in the hands of someone that will get it back on the track!
  22. These are on the front fenders of a 20/25 Rolls Royce 1927 model. I have purchased a set from a person that must have a different measuring device than I, because they are far too large. So here is a set of photos of what I need. The small one is almost too big in diameter. PLEASE LOOK CLOSE. The diameter of the beehive is the important measurement because of the bezel that has to fit over the beehive. About 1.800 at base of beehive is actually a bit too large, but could work if no other hope. 1.535 with O'.. just under 2" would be perfect.
