  1. There is a forum for Metz on this site. Scroll down through the various makes.
  2. I don't think you are referring to this car.
  3. Cloudy with a chance of meatballs!
  4. I bought the Paige from Charlie Hipp in 1999 and kept it until 2014. It went to California and the current owner is trying to sell it now.
  5. Yep. That's Charlie Hipp. He'll have a space on the Orange field this year and be showing a 1931 Cadillac v12 roadster on Saturday.

  7. How old or what condition is the radiator core? My PA never goes above 150. Parades are no problem. I read on these forums that Evaporust has been used to clean cooling systems.
  8. Is this why the golf carts at Hershey drag the tin cans? Read a story many years ago about early Rolls Royce car. Something like. " The only thing you hear when a Rolls Royce is coming down the road is the tires. We don't make the tires"
  9. Only bid to $ 17,250 on bring a trailer. Told current owner to use AACA or CCCA site to get the right people to take notice.
  10. This is a youtube video I posted with a few shots of Melton and one of his cars.
  11. The owner of the car gave the mechanic my phone number and called me asking if I could help him with a few questions. The car had sat for quite a while and the carb wasn't getting gas no matter how long he cranked it. ( told him to open the plug on the top of the vacuum canister and put a little gas in it. He told me the 1/2 of points were missing . He later messaged me that the points were ok. When I last spoke to the current owner, he said the car was running flawlessly now. He had the fuel pump rebuilt. When I sold him the car he had no experience with anything of this era. I told him numerous times to join AACA and contact the closest AACA region. There were 2 regions within 10 miles of him. Grimy spoke to him a few years ago but help and advice was ignored. The car was in an auction a few years ago. Auction house specialized in watches and pocketbooks. https://bid.gwsauctions.com/auction/45/item/1921-paige-larchmont-ii-convertible-woriginal-engine-7341/
  12. The Paige 6-66 and 6-70 Models were recognized as CCCA classics a few years ago. Right after I sold my car!
  13. I don't think that this particular car was for sale on eBay. I have never seen a 1921 Larrchmont II come up for sale . A 1980's Paige owners roster listed only 2 1921 Larchmont II''s. I have never seen or heard of the other . Did it go overseas's? I wonder.
  14. Watch the youtube video above
  15. Two Charlies from White Plains owned this car. Charlie Hipp from around 1973 to 1996 and me from from 1996 to 2014. You remember the car from when Charlie Hipp owned it. The guy in Calif. bought it but never drove it. This is a link to a video I made when I had the car for sale.
  16. The word Classic when talking about any vintage car .. A friend of mine goes ballistic when someone refers to a 57 Chevy as a "Classic"
  17. Just saw how bad the pictures are
  18. This is an original bleeder. I don't know if the bleeder hose is available. The outside screw is removed and the hose threaded into where the outside screw was threaded into the larger bleeder valve. You keep the master cylinder full and loosen the bleeder valve to let air and fluid into the hose( someone pushing the brake down slowly) and into a jar . Keep the hose in a jar with some fluid in it so you dont let air back into it when you close it. There are plenty of videos on how to do the bleeding. I did not have much sucesss with the one man vacuum pump. You can replace the older valves with the newer one piece type.
  19. I don't get that with my stock PA. 50 thousand original miles. I've hit 50( for a short time) with no major engine vibration. Got the "death wobble " once at a lower speed. Scary.
  20. A day late posting. Per the Chrysler Historical records my 1931 Plymouth was built and shipped on July 18th 1931. Shipped to South Salem NY. I bought this car 50 years ago a few miles from South Salem. I found out last year that the dealership that sold my car was in business from 1914 (started with Dodges) and sold cars until 2008 when they lost their franchise due to the economic downturn. The grandson of Tator's Garage is still at the original sight and works on Vipers. There is a rather long youtube video with Chuck Tator. It gets a little political as to why they lost their franchise. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJwLljA_2hI
  21. I don't think that is a horn ring. Possibly a reflection on the passenger glass.
