You have a PA broker -len. Do you think it revs too high at 40MPH?. I've been driving my PA for 50 years and never thought it was reving too high at 40 . Does he do a lot of long trips? Does he want to go 55MPH?. Seems like a lot of work to change anything in the rear end .

Yes. Different BB1's have different bolt mounting widths. 31 and 32 intake manifold have a different carb mounting width. There are also about 50 variations of the BB1

I went once about 30 years ago. Almost passed out from heat exhaustion. I was sick for hours after I got home to NY. Not too many car shows in August. -

I don't know for sure what could be causing the shifting problem. I always double clutch. The early transmissions take a little getting used to. The early 31 Plymouth had straight gears and later 31-32 had helical ( curved) gears. . I may be able to post a picture of a stick shift for a 31-32 in a few days. I would post all of your questions in the Plymouth forum to get better exposure to your Plymouth questions.

If you have more question about the Plymouth, the Plymouth section in the Chrysler Products forum is a great place to get information. Also, you should join the Plymouth Owners Club.

If it is spinning ,most likely the "wing" is screwed to the cap and the nut has become loose. It should not do any harm to spin it off so that it can be repaired. Very nice car. Looks like a Deluxe model. (dual sidemounts, chromed windshield frame. Post some more pictures. Your car may be registered as a 1932 but it is a 1931 Plymouth PA. I have had my PA for over 50 years. if you have any other questions
