  1. Troubleshooting the major/minor problems you listed translates into "you'll have to spend more money once you buy the car". Folks generally don't like to buy cars and then turn around and have to spend more money unless the price of the car was cheap to begin with. At the miles you listed and the price you gave, there should be no problems to have to fix.

    Just my thoughts....

  2. The previous owner of my Reatta told me that he and his wife took turns driving from FL to AZ. The one not driving slept in the back by putting the "trap door" down and sleeping with their body mostly in the trunk and a pillow on door. He was not 6 ft., but he was about my height - 5'9", so I know it's been done......

that 12v then goes to P101 then to C102 then splice S135 and then on to the left (S130) and right front (S129)

Since both the left and right front is out ... then you have a bad connection, bad splice, or damaged wire. </div></div>

Thanks Barney! Yes, all lights work except the left and right front. Now I'm off to find out if it's the connection, splice or wire..... Best place to look??

Mine is an '89. What is the title for the other post? I can't locate it.

  5. Hello!

I did a search and couldn't find exactly what I was looking for, so I thought I'd throw this out to you all - my parking lights do not work. Bought new bulbs, and the fuse is good. The headlights work, the fog lights work, the turn signals work, etc. and so forth. I did find something about "Relay F" on the passenger side being the parking light relay - does this only control the parking lights? Is there anything else I can check? Any and all advice is welcome.

Oh, and if it makes any difference, the back lights DO come on....

    Thanks much!

  6. It does start and run fine, but I wondered if there was an alternator problem lurking in my future, or some other item... I couldn't figure out why the difference in readings in the 2 cars.

  7. Hi All!

I have what I believe is a fairly simple question - what is the "normal" reading for Volts on the gage screen? Mine is always around 12.9 to 13.2, my boyfriend's Reatta generally has 14.1 so my numbers seem low. Both cars are '89, BTW.

Thanks in advance for your help!

  8. <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">The switch bank is going bad. You need to repair or replace the pod.

There are contacts in the switch that wear out or bend out of shape. </div></div>

I have this problem on my '89 as well, but I don't understand this solution. Where is the 'switch bank'? What is the 'pod'? confused.gif

Could you direct me to the section of the service manual I'd need to look at to get up to speed?

    Thanks!!

  9. Looks like this one is back on the Ebay auction block under a new Seller - item #4574821279. Not advertised as a Select 60 vehicle this time... interesting... (They could have at least used different pictures!) Bidding starts at $4775 and it has a SALVAGE TITLE??
