  1. Today I saw this car on the back of an open car hauler outside Cleveland, OH heading west. Clearly someone bought it and is having it shipped to them as we speak. Hope they have fun with it.
  2. I have a number of Ts. By far my most comfortable car is my 1913 Touring. A '26 Roadster is quite comfortable for me and '11 Torpedo and Open Runabouts are coveted because of their generous legroom. My '26 Touring was not super comfortable...really not at all. My '15 Touring was okay but tight for my toes. Hope that helps a little. For context, I am 5'11" and 225 lbs. Most importantly, I have a 34" inseam and wear a size 13 shoe. I hope that helps.
  3. Doesn't look like the same car in both photos. Maybe it's just me.
  4. A friend of mind had a par of these, a Touring and a Roadster, both fabulous cars. I see the potential here.
  5. My 12 year old daughter's reaction was "will you buy it for me?"
  6. No Matt...not everybody. There is a reason I unloaded the '37 Cadillac I owned for one season. Very quickly I could see that I was going to head down the same road you were on at that time. I miss the car but my wife is not as tolerant as yours and trouble was brewing as the bills mounted. In short, it became clear it was the car or the marriage. I'm still married...but not to the Cadillac. 50 K for the Lincoln as I write this. It's out of my league in more ways than one. May the Force be with the buyer.
  7. If I was going to buy a I uncle car (and I admit, with the current power train, there wouldn't be a lot), this is the car I'd buy.
  8. I have driven an eight cylinder Imperial (a 35 Airflow limousine) quite extensively. It drives like a much newer car. The car in question was a fresh restoration and was beautifully sorted. The steering was light and brakes were powerful. Honestly, I have never driven a more competent car of the 30s. It absolutely blew the doors off my '37 Cadillac 70 Series. Just my opinion.
  9. Great looking Buick, a car to be proud of. Welcome to the forum.
  10. Matt and all, I have followed this thread from beginning to end and am greatly impressed by Matt and Melanie's perseverance with this car. Unfortunately I couldn't see the car when it was 20 miles from my house but hope to see it some other time. The story of the ride with dad filled me with joy and a touch of envy as I lost my dad several years ago. I am so happy you are finally able to drive, trust and enjoy the car. Eric
  11. Having talked to Ed at length a couple times on the phone, I have no doubt you are 100% correct.
  12. Kevin, if you are willing to share, can you educate those of us who advertise exclusively in the traditional venues, what do you see as the non-traditional ways of selling or acquiring a car?
  13. Nothing here not to like. That would look good in my garage.
  14. Seeing the four final cars as they were preparing to announce Best of Show, to me this car stood head and shoulders over the other three contenders. As was mentioned in the commentary, the judges always seem to pick the "right" car. Except for the year when the Duesenberg edinmass was showing was runner up, I agree, they always get it right.
  15. I drove a '58 Continental to the Eyes on Design Concours years ago. I have never driven a better car on the highway. I like this big four door a lot. What a car!
  16. 35Packard, is the maroon car in the photo yours? I like this one and the 734 Speedster Phaeton!
  17. It looked a lot like this but I think it was a Ford. It got past me so fast I couldn't really tell.
