If the gear is original to the car, I wonder why after 88 years the teeth broke-off and what was the precipitating factor to make it happen now. It's not like the gear shows any sign of wear, abuse or lack of lubrication.

I am not aware of any car manufacturer who offers green-painted cars today, although that color was previously not rare on vehicles manufactured in the U.S.

It is an original Model A running board and not a reproduction.
Can't say for certain whether it is NOS or an early take off.

It still does. Applied black Rustoleum paint to a mailbox and within several months it looked like it was painted with dull gray paint.

Don't forget the purpose of shills.
And even if the owner of a vehicle ends up buying his own vehicle back after being bid up by a shill, whose to say the car owner and the auction company doesn't have some type of agreement that exempts buyer's fees for certain vehicles based on prior agreements.
Rich people don't get rich because they make stupid decisions.

As far as the guy who stole the car, he may not be in jail, and if he is, he will be released and out on the street ready to commit another crime. It's too bad a bullet is the only way to stop some people with bad habits.

Products mentioned such as charcoal, vanilla, fabric softener and coffee grounds placed in proximity to where the mouse urine is present might mask or absorb the odor, but none of them attack the source of the smell which can emanate for years.

Tucker was one of a multitude of car manufacturers that were started in the late 1940s and early 1950s and the only reason Tucker rose to its present day prominence is due only to the Tucker movie released in 1988.
