  1. Anyone able to post a photo or diagram....I would be interested to see it as I can't recall if they were still on mine when it was disassembled
  2. DR SPOCK?????? NO...... that was a well known pediatrician and author. Lenard Nimoy was Mr Spock.
  3. Very sad...great story.........RIP Mr Spock
  4. If the car is as half as good as it looks then that seems a bargain to me.......shouldn't last long.
  5. Great work......my trunk stoppers are on there way! Could I please have them back in a month
  6. Welcome Flo......from Brian in Australia (Kangaroos not Cows) And thanks for those parts......what should I be expecting to arrive next for my 55
  7. Very nice of you to offer Mike........Let me know when it's ready..... he he
  8. Thanks Greg Yes I would think that a series 40/60 from 1956 should interchange but I might be wrong.
  9. That convertible is stunning!!
  10. I have a project in mind for some time in the future and was wondering what other frames/Chassis would be a direct fit for a 55 Special/Century 2 Door Riviera. Pretty sure 55 4 Door of the same series would be the same.....what about 54 & 56 and up? Not concerned with the running gear just a bare frame that would bolt on without any major modifications using the existing mounting points. Anyone investigated this before? Let me know your thoughts
  11. That black Super in the background looks like a good car.........is that yours as well?
  12. Good to hear Mike...............I got one from Brad recently ...........it's stashed away with the other goodies ready to go on the 55.
  13. Nice work Stuart.............looking fine! By the way you need to update your signature.......there's a car missing from that list!
  14. So an update for anyone else looking to email Marty, his new email address is mjexhaust@yahoo.com
  15. Thanks for that......I would still like to find an up dated email address if anyone can provide one. mjexhaust@voyager.net does not work anymore.
  16. I was corresponding with Martin Johnson from MJ Exhaust a few months ago but his email address is no longer working for me. The last emails I got from him were from mjexhaust@voyager.net but any thing I send to that now gets returned. Does anyone have an up to date email address?
  17. This would have to be the most enjoyable part of the restoration process.......I can't wait to be able to do this my 55...........great work Mirko.
  18. Found these stashed away in some parts I have.....not sure what series it fits and exactly what area of the rear guard/body it is from. Pretty sure it's 46-48 and looks to have been cut, although I would say the panel is unused/NOS. Appreciate some input as to where it suits.
  19. I'm working on repairing the door flippers on my 55 and was wondering if anyone had some tips. I've disassembled them which is a bit tricky but the removal of the fuzzy strips has me concerned. I've attached some photos of the areas I'm talking about. Other than physically prying open the edge that holds them in is there any tricks to removing them to replace them with new ones? Mine are crimped in very tight and I can see prying the edge open could lead to damaging the stainless. Any Thoughts?
