  1. I had 14x7 steel rims on my '72 Cutlass and had no clearance issues with the disc brakes. Paul
  2. I've seen a GM interchange book. I think it was for B-O-P. I also think it was late 40's/early 50's. The only way I have been able to cross reference anything between makes was to get other parts books. I bought the ones on CD off of eBay. Paul
  3. These places also show them: http://www.greenleafauto.com/loc-detail.asp?id=22 http://www.weberautoparts.com/ http://www.parkerstautoparts.com/ http://www.kingautoparts.com/ http://www.rmrecyclers.com/ All supposedly within 100 miles of you. Paul
  4. '78-'79 maybe '80 Buick Regal
  5. http://www.granbyautosalvage.com/ They want $150 out of a 96 Grand Am. 26 miles from you? http://www.highwayautosalvage.com/ Also $150, also from a 96 Grand Am. Try those and see where you get. Paul
  6. What's your zip code? That helps in finding a part near you. These sunroofs are made by Webasto, if that helps. They interchange between years and are also used on Grand Ams and probably Skylarks, too. They seem to fit '94 thru '98. I'm finding some as cheap as $85, but I don't know how close they are to you. Paul
  7. Well, I'm glad you got fixed up. I knew something there just didn't seem right. And you don't owe me anything. Glad to help. Paul
  8. Well, you lost out on mine, but there's another one on eBay now. Paul
  9. If I had to call that thing something, I would call it a hood center molding extention. But there is no name for it, because it's not listed separately in the catalog. And the illustration shows it all as one piece. So you're saying that the part number I gave you is the ornament itself (with the spring) and nothing else? That seems odd. I know I've had a couple of ornaments in my hand already and they were the whole thing. One was for a Diesel, the other was for a '76 Grand Prix. Even the picture you have shows it all as one piece. The other thing is, coupes and sedans take different part numbers. I don't know why I just thought of this - the part number I gave you was for a coupe, I just assumed that's what it was. Anyway, the ornament itself should be the same, it's the base that's different between a coupe and a sedan because the front sheet metal is totally different. So if it was just the ornament itself the part number would be the same for both models, but it's not. Strange. Paul
  10. I would say these '64 drums will not fit on your '66. My '83 parts book shows 65-69 exc. F85, Toronado or 15" wheels as using the same drums. If they would fit a '64 it would be listed that way. Discontinued in '84, btw. Paul
  11. You can go here to see the '59 prestige brochure. They don't show the presentation envelope: http://www.cadillac.se/Litterature.htm It's for sale. No price. Paul
  12. What you are finding is what was called the "saver" catalog. These were typically given out at the auto shows. Don't know if they call them savers because they saved the company money, or because alot of times they were scarfed up by brochure savers instead of serious prospects. For the more serious Cadillac prospect, dealers were provided with "prestige" brochures. There were usually larger in size, had more pages, and might have had more photos than the saver catalogs. From about 1954 to 1964, Cadillac gave them in presentation envelopes. They are out there, but hard to find, and expensive. Paul
  13. Sorry for the delay. I've been wanting to check on this and kept forgetting. My '63 parts book shows a gasket being used on '49 thru '55 8 cylinder cars as well as '56 "R" HydraMatics. Part #414156. Someone even has the part number circled in my book. Must have been popular. Phiobond No. 30 sealer is used on '41 thru '48 models and '49 & '50 76s. Paul
  14. Well, I can only search US dealers. There about 12 that show one in stock - probably the closest to you is Henderson Chevrolet in Henderson, Nevada. (702)558-2438. No dealer stock in the Pacific Northwest. Let me know how you make out with them. If you don't, I can provide more dealers. Paul
  15. GM part #22519639. Fits Supreme coupes except with Diesel engine or Calais. Discontinued. There are some dealers that have stock. Tell me where you're from and I'll give you a dealer near you. Should be in the $70 range. Paul
  16. I believe the rear shelf in cardboard. Paul

  18. OK, now we're getting somewhere. 69-72 TH350 w/40,41,42,43,44,45 teeth gears Part #1362285 GM substituted part #25512339 in Oct of '83. Used in a variety of vehicles, most recently late 80's full sized and mini vans. Available over the counter at your friendly local GM dealer for $66.85. GM has lots in stock. Paul
  19. I think what you are talking about is called a sleeve. Has a groove in it toward the threaded end, a tab slides in the groove and the tab is bolted to the trans case and that's what holds the sleeve in the trans. What Turbo 350 is it going in? Paul
  20. Unfortunately, carpet is one of the few things the chart doesn't list. Here's what it shows: Trim #314 Coral Leather and Dark Gray Pattern Cloth Upper Instrument Panel - Dark Gray Autronic-Eye - Dark Gray Rear Seat Speaker Bezel - Dark Gray Lower Instument Panel - Coral Dash Mat - K. B. Board - Dark Gray Steering Column - Coral Turn Signal Lever - Coral Shift Lever - Coral Steering Wheel - Coral Sorry - that's it. Paul
  21. Dave, I sent you a PM, but didn't hear back from you. I don't know if this is the place to conduct such business, but I just listed one of these shifter seals on eBay. Paul
  22. My chart is from the '55 Dealer Album. Paul
  23. According to the chart I have, wheels should be coral. Paul
