  1. A friend has a 70 Cutlass Supreme that has been customized with a Vista Cruiser roof and back end.Unfortunately,it has a 350 Chev eng.,but does have a Muncie 4spd and console.12bolt Olds rear.Buckets, black on black. This car needs a restoration. It runs and drives and someone put a LOT of effort into it.This is a car Olds should have built. Offers around $4,000.Please call Mark at 727 572 0354 daytime.
  2. I have a '72 Cutlass S coupe parts car(no title) or resto. $500. I got this to redo ,have had theft problems, just want to get rid of. Front/rear seats, door panels, pass. mirror stolen. They broke the LR 1/4 glass to gain access. This is a bench seat car, drum brake,a/c,350, auto.Blue /blue inside.Rusty around rear window.Decent front clip and doors. Call Ted at 813 417 0881 for more info.
  3. A friend has an antique auto salvage yard in Plant City ,Fla. He has a 53 Roadmaster 2dr Riviera that I used to own in his yard.It ran good several years ago and even drove down the road. I don't remember if it had a power seat, but it does have power windows. You can call him at 813 752 9004,ask for Wayne. Hope this helps,Ted McKenney
  4. Yeah! I would like to know also! I have a deal to buy a 65 hardtop near Atlanta Ga.Was told that it had a 389 tripower with a/c and 4speed.It is gold with black interior and also has a 2nd design Rally cluster.Unfortunately, the complete running gear is gone. But what can you expect for $300.At least vin and data plate still attatched to a very sound body. I wonder if that contest car ended up in the Atlanta area? When I first eyeballed this car,the Tiger contest car came to mind right away. After I get this one home,I will do a PHS search on it.
  5. Buicks had optional wire wheels in '53-'56 made by Kelsey Hayes.Standard equipment for the Skylark model. Then in 1978 ,wire wheels were offered for the Riviera only I believe, and possibly the Electra model that year.
  6. I have run across a '59 Super 88 4dr wagon that I can buy. It shows 13,000 miles, but is weathered some on the outside. I am looking for some input as for this car being worth spending some money on. The interior needs cleaning and has excellent original upholstery. In fact the vinyl looks like leather patchwork sewn together, but, actually molded that way.A little rust behind rear wheelwell.Bumpers need rechrome, but potmetal trim is almost flawless, inside and out.The inside of oil cap and engine looks NEW! Runs good. Not many options. I believe the mileage on this car is correct. Thanks for any replies.
  7. 1971 SKYLARK Custom grille on ebay at no reserve ,in very nice shape ebay # 4568297610 If anyone needs this hard to find part.
  8. You could look for an optional steering wheel that was installed in some '83-'85 Riviera's.It is a three spoke design that is made of real wood and has leather grips at each spoke. It will bolt on . But kind of rare. This wheel was standard equipment on the '83 Riviera 20th anniv. Indy 500 pace car replica. But only 500 or so were built.
  9. I would look at the rubber fuel line hoses over the rear axle, coming from the fuel tank. After almost 30 years, they may be dry rotted . Ted
  10. He probably meant 4 cylinders on each side!
  11. I thought something wasn't right about that car. The fender port holes look like '56 but the back of the car is definitely '54.My mistake!
  12. Here is another Buick....'56 Special
  13. Thanks. I am anxious to get this one on the road! A pic of the '54
  14. Bought a very restorable '60 Electra convertible on ebay 3 weeks ago or so. Finally made the trip to Maryland Friday to get it. Ended up buying another car while there.( '71 Olds 88 Royale convertible). I saw only a small portion of a large collection of 'projects' while there loading the Buick. Now I am committed to another 900 mile trip-one way. What a great find! The Electra has rusty rockers with one side all ready replaced.Included in the sale is the other replacement rocker. A Chalet Blue, built in California, and equipped with the original bucket seats.Other than the rockers and some minor floor rust, this car is pretty solid! I haven't heard it run yet,but was told it runs good. I'll find out this week what it needs. The next trip ,I plan to stay a full day to check out the other cars. I noticed a rough '54 Roadmaster 2dr hardtop with power windows and a '56 Special 2dr hardtop sitting in the back 40. I 'll keep everyone posted on what I find during the next trip.
  15. I will start selling parts from this car if anyone needs anything!!! Can call 813 417 0881. This car has a good '72 472 engine and trans. Both are good. Not much for body parts. Ted
  16. I put this on ebay again and it has reached the reserve. 5 days left. Looks like it is sold. But not until the money is in hand!
