  1. No, and Yes it should be if you want to use any of the added power. The EGR could be used if you care to hook it up. I didn't.
  2. Actually nothing. Connect you sensors back to the correct sending units and put on the correct belt. The cable to the alt may have to be lengthened, because the alt is now on the other side of the engine.
  3. Yes, I modified the new one for the tv cable.
  4. No, the supercharger has it's own oil in the front nose. It is a special oil and if you get a used one you should change it along with the clutch. It is a simple job.
  5. I agree. What you need is a supercharger & throttle body from a 95 or 94 Buick pontiac or olds, the intake manifold, front alt & power steering bracket and p/s pump. If you get parts from a bone yard, make sure you get the heater hose outlets. If you find one that is complete take everything off the top of the motor including the throttle cable bracket and the reserve tank for the power steering pump and injectors. I have some spare parts that I could let you have. Jon..
  6. Do you want to retain you turbocharged setup and add a supercharger? Or remove the turbo and install a supercharger?
  7. PM me please, I am very interested in your upgrade for the lights.
  8. Well it's wrong. It is a bolt on part, no modifications have to be made. The worst thing is rerouting the power steering hose, if you change the power steering pump to bolt on to the front adapter plate. Only other thing is blocking off the EGR outlet.
  9. Who told you that you have to machine the damarnic balancer?????
  10. "Just adding a supercharger to the original engine is massive undertaking" Where did you get this Idea from?
  11. I beg to differ with you Daniel, It is not cheaper to change the whole engine and transmission, rather than installing a supercharger on the present engine. With the cost of both parts and installation it is far more expensive. You can pick up all the parts for the supercharger at a local bone yard and install them yourself at a small cost. The wiring is nonexistent. There are only minor wiring changes that have to be made.
  12. It is set to change every 1.5 sec. I can change it to almost any length of time.
  13. My tail light lights up as fist pic and then as the second pic. Then it changes back to "Quick" & then "Buick" again.

WE had a 2012 and it burned oil. The dealer was about to rebuild the engine when we traded it in.

Has anyone tried E-85 Gas? They say that you get more power with it.
  20. I stripped my bumpers and had them polished. They now look like chrome but are hard to keep looking good. I used aircraft paint stripper on them to take the anodizing off and then took them to a polishing Co. and had them polished. I think you could just take them to a polisher and they could polish the finish off and not bother to strip them.

  22. The front air dam looks 100% better painted, along with the side rockers and the rear panel. I don't know why the factory didn't figure it out. The car looks finished when it is painted. The black plastic looks naked and unfinished.
  23. Yes, 2seater, I had the chip done by "sinister Eng". It has 5 setting that I can control !- normal + Water/Methanol. 2- Water/Methanol + NOS. 3- Just NOS. 4- No assists 5- Valet, Won't go over 50mph PS- All settings include the Supercharger.
