About two and one half months ago (350 miles) I had the local Buick dealer flush the brakes on my 90 Reatta. (113,000 miles) Yesterday When doing some other work on car. (It is, or was put up for the winter) I noticed that the Brake fluid was dark in color. So I removed some with an old antifreze tester and sure enough it was very dark. Now, my question is, if the dealer flushed the system how did the fluid get so dark? This mourning I took the car out of storage and drove it back to the dealer and raised HE-double toohpicks with them. They agreed that the fluid should not be dark after only 350 miles. I spoke to the one mechinic that I trust (he was not the one that "Flushed" the brakes) He said that it is a possibility that one or more of the Hoses could be causing the problem. Does this sound reasonable? I left the car with the dealer for the week, as I will be out of town until next monday.
