  1. I found one for my 1941 120 throught Max Merritt. The original was so corroded and pitted that it was very difficult to get it to stop leaking. His thermostat springs are only $5. Jim Showers

    order J6065 tool

I'd be interested, if I knew what the tool was or its purpose. Jim Showers
  4. Frank, I have two styles. The odd one is somewhat opaque and has a raised ridge running the length of it. I have a pair of those. The other is clear with the magnifying area that intensifies the light from the bulb. I have just the one of this style. I am not a parts dealer, but one who has some parts and is willing to help out. I can take pictures of them for you to see. Jim
  5. I have some spares, I will have to look to see how they are. I have a 1947 6 cylinder Clipper. Jim Showers
  6. Have you tried Coker tire. They make some rims. I am saving the $850 I need for a 25" detachable demountable rim for my Stanley, so I might have a spare tire. Jim Showers 3 Packards and a Stanley
  7. Check your private messages for price. Jim
  8. I'm going to guess a 41-42 Clipper. My 1947 6 cylinder Clipper has a different hood ornament. It has the Cormorant with out-stretched wings. Jim Showers
  9. Other pictures are on their way off forum. Jim
  10. I am hoping to attach a picture of the car that was taken when I picked it up. Jim
  11. Steve, I have some on disc that I took when I purchased the car. Send your e-mail address and I will reply off forum with them Jim Showers steamcar@hereintown.net
  12. As I have committed to purchase a 1941 120, I have decided to sell my 1953 Cavalier. It has the 327 4 bbl, ultramatic, power antenna which still works. It is a solid car with surface rust. The car was stored indoors until about 10 years ago. I bought it 1 1/2 years ago and have kept it inside since. It was last licensed in 1969. The engine runs, but needs a new set of plug wires. I changed the oil 2 weeks ago and put in new points. The car moves under its own power, but needs brake work. The old brake fluid has changed to jelly. It has a good Maryland title, dated 1955. The car is complete and is located in eastern WVA with easy access to I81 or I68. Jim Showers 1953 Cavalier 1947 Clipper 1921 Stanley
  13. I took my very recently acquired 1947 6 cyl Clipper to a local car show and got a first place trophy in the 1940-49 original car class. I also took care of a carburetor adjustment problem. Nothing was done to the 1953 Cavalier. I have noticed that Packards are like dandelions.....once you have one in your yard it seems that others soon follow. 14. I took my very recently acquired 1947 6 cyl Clipper to a local show and got 1st place in the 1940-49 original car class. I also found a minor carburetor adjustment problem. Nothing done to the 1953 Cavalier. I have noticed one thing......Packards are somewhat like dandelions. If you get one in your yard, it doesn't take long until there are more. I have acumulated 2 Packards in less than one year. Jim Showers 1921 Stanley 735B Touring 1947 Packard Clipper 1953 Packard Cavalier
