  1. I have set of four genuine Buick Wildcat 15" x 6" Formula 5 Road Wheels with center caps for sale. These are correct for 1964 Wildcat only - 2" centers, larger hub area and all are true with no bends. I did a quick cleanup of one of the wheels and would consider these driver quality with some typical corrosion in the curved locations where water and dirt would settle. These could be show condition if re-plated. Center caps are as viewed in my pictures. These were rarely seen on a Wildcat back in '64 and very hard to come by 56 years later, especially with the centers present. Asking $1,000.00 plus actual shipping. Pickup is available in the Chicago Metro area. Thanks, Rich Romanowski
  2. I wonder what my set needing plating with centers would be valued at in the current market ???
  3. ILooking for NOS parts and trinkets for my 1976 Custom Cruiser. Don't have a list yet as the car is a complete Texas original. I am, however , entertaing stocking up parts and accessories as they become available. Thanks for the read and Happy new Years.
  4. Thanks again Glenn. I think I'll do the search for an NOS 1st and if unable to locate I'll go with a rebuilder.
  5. Glenn, Thanks for the reply and part number. At least I have a starting point now.
  6. Looking for an NOS or excellant working used power antenna for my 1976 Custom Cruiser. Please quote price with shipping to Chicago 60656. Thank you.
  7. Can anyone here tell me if the Oldsmobile antenna interchanges with Buick or other GM for the 1976 model year ? Mine isn't working so I'd be thankful for any help.
  8. I'm posting for a friend having a problem with intermittent headlights on a '67 Grand Prix. Some nights they work and some nights they don't. The lights illiminate but the covers don't want to roll over like they should. I've installed a new headlight switch (very expensive bugger) but the problem continues. What else does this system consist of and anyone have advice for servicing ?? I'm thinking that there are some actuators and a motor but I haven't played with it yet. Thank you for any help you can give. Rich
  9. I don't have a ready pic available, but will ask my friend to get one to me. It's his dad's car and I'm sure he has some pics as I remember going through a pile of pics with him once. May take a bit, but I'll get one posted ASAP. Rich
  10. Nice find !! Now comes the fun part...restoration. I'm no expert on production numbers for these cars, but do know of another original owner since new 1963 4 speed Wildcat convertible. The car I've mentioned has under 70,000 original miles and was purchased new by a friend. 100% original except for the dual quads and chrome road wheels which he added in the mid 60's. This car could be taken to any car show and go home with a trophy. Same color White, but with a Black interior. If that's not enough, I remember back when I was more active in the Chicago Buick chapter, a member that had a '63 Lesabre station wagon with the factory 4 speed. Now, how rare is that ?
  11. Want to really screw things up ?? How about a NO GAS WEEK ??? This whole gasoline thing is a scam anyways. A couple years ago we were closing up refineries because we had overproduced. Now, Brain Boy Bush decides to build additional refineries to solve our problems. Or was it meant to take care of his buddies back in Texas ?? You decide. Just think how it would hurt retailers, when in addition to NO GAS, they'd be selling NO OVERPRICED SNACKS as well. I was in the gas station the other night paying for my fuel when I commented to the clerk that their prics had jumped 8 cents overnight. At the same time, the tanker was there re-filling their tanks. I asked if the new load was gonna be priced even higher and the clerk told me to ask the tanker driver. So, I did. Surprisingly, the driver was of middle eastern origin. Didn't we have recent terror threat warnings that may be carried out by these types of tankers ?? Sure raised the hair on my back seeing this guy driving all that fuel around Chicago. Makes one wonder... Time to shove it to them guys and gals. Riche
  12. This is a wonderful thread !! For those of you that may not know me by my user ID, let me tell you that I remember digging through the atics of those old Buick stores for NOS parts during the 80's. These buildings were designed with a purpose and to lure customers back in on a weekly basis, and I believe that those sevice centers and quaint showrooms along with those Fireball V-8, Lubricare and Dynaflow signs were what brought people back. Excitement. I wish I only had the sense to bring a camera with on those trips...DUH !! I remember one Buick dealer here in Chicago, Logan Square Buick, that had four floors of service etc. and an elevator to take your car up for service. Oh, and I remember the monthly ? trips with my uncle. Always went home with a new Buick dealer promotional model. Wonder if those models are what made me so loyal to Buick ?? BTW, we should all thank Buick architects for those HUGE trussed attics. Without them, we may never have had the NOS parts we've had over the years to restore old Buicks. Do you think that was part of the plan as well ?? lol. Rich Romanowski
  13. 1994 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham in magnificent condition. This is one of the last years for this BIG RWD luxury sedan with the Chevrolet 350 LT1 V-8. Car is finished in Dark Green/Gray metallic with contrasting Taupe interior. Car has never been smoked in and has always been garaged. [color:\\"blue\\"] 70,000 Actual miles !!! Properly maintained since new with many recent repairs. Crisp and Supple leather interior and steering wheel. Never involved in any accidents, although it did just get a small dent the other day at my mechanic's when I was having the brakes replaced. This will be professionally repaired unless someone wants to buy this car before I get the chance to do so. If you live in the Chicagoland area, I have a perfectionist of a body man that will fix this to where you'll never know it existed. Price is negotiable based on the cost to repair this damage. Really a shame, as this was/is a never painted on car. Car is equipped with every Cadillac option except the moonroof, and also includes AM/FM/CD player, Garage door opener, Alloy whels, Heated Leather seats. You name it, and it's got it !! Air Conditioning is ICE COLD and all options work as they should This car Rides, Handles and Looks like new. I searched over 1-1/2 years before finding one in this condition. Located in Chicago near Ohare airport for easy viewing or pickup. I don't have a picture host, but will be happy to email a series of pics upon request. If you are looking for one of the nicest examples of these Old School Cadillac Luxury Cars around, please email me at r.romanowski@comcast.net for more detailed conversation or a bunch of pictures. I can also be contacted at 773-230-2210 cell, or 773-864-0607 evenings Car is priced at $ 8,650.00 or a very serious offer. Please see attaachment to this post for picture. Thank you !! Rich
  14. Looking for an excellant+ steering wheel for my '67 Grand Prix. Prefer Black, but may also take an excellanr wheel in another color and have it re-painted. Does anyone here know if the 1968 GTO wheel would be the same ?? Thanks, Rich
  15. I should know this stuff, but I've been away from the Rivieras for awhile. Can anyone tell me what the surrounds, or carpets, dash, dashpad and package shelf colors should be for a 1964 Riviera with a White interior ?? I'm thinking Black, as one of my 1965's had sort of an ashy grayish black console, but maybe it was different from 1964. I could also use any information on other colors that may have used surrounding parts different than the seating areas. Thank you, Rich
