  1. Hello, I am trying to find what these belong to - have gone through countless pictures, but haven't come up with anything yet. Do they look familiar to anyone? I can find no markings, numbers, etc. at all to identify. Any input would be appreciated.....
  2. Howard - I did a little digging today in the pile, saw a peice of shiny chrome through the branches and logs - "intensified" my clearing away of stuff ; only to find my stupid Zippo lighter had fallen out of my pocket and worked it's way down there....! Oh well, the "rush" felt good !!
  3. K Howard - so that doesn't get me any closer then, eh ! Well - I'll maybe just mosey up there and start cuttin' wood to see what I can reveal. Thanks everyone for your input - least it's given me a place to start ! Cheers Dave
  4. Hi Dan, Chevy eh ? I had a look at a couple pictures and it could be, I couldn't see it good enough in the pictures I looked at...... . If your familiar with those cars I have a picture of the speedo from it ; does it look like something you recognize...? Tnks Dave
  5. Thanks for your guys' input. I have another photo from the front that may help....and the car is down in the pile - kinda looks beyond recognition - but the steering column, back bumper (half buried) and driveshaft/axle is visible; and if I took my chainsaw up there I could probably unearth whatever is there !! (if it's worth the effort for what one would get outta it !). Hopefully this picture will clarify thinga a little better..... Tnks Dave
  6. Hello I recently found a front bumper sticking out of a big slash pile that was destined to burn, and I moved some tree's out of the way and removed it from the vehicle it was attached to. it appears to be a late 20's - early 30's vintage, but what it is I don't know. Can anyone suggest a good website where I could look at front bumpers from this era and try identify it in case my picture doesn't turn out on this message ? Tnks Dave
