  1. Thanks for the input, I always thought Centuries had duals, but, I guess not. I will make it work, the car is not stock, so, it will be getting a hole cut into the 'X' frame, as it has on the right. Thanks again, Paul
  2. I purchased a new dual exhaust system for my '56 Century, and, on the left side, there isn't a hole thru the " X" frame for the exhaust as there is on the right. All indications point to the car being a true Century, but, did Century ever come with single exhaust therefore no hole thru the frame ? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Paul
  3. I have one, but, shipping from St. Louis to California would be prohibitive in my estimation, Paul
  4. I have one from a '42 Buick 'A' body convertible, it's complete, but needs to be rebuilt. It's a bit different but generally about the same. The mast is straight but, chrome is wearing off. $200.00 plus shipping, Paul
  5. I checked today, I have the trunk lid, it has surface rust, but, is solid with a small rust thru spot on the lower left outside, inside is real nice, $150.00 I have 2 rear bumpers both pretty nice, may need a bit of straightening, but definitely platable, $100.00 each, and, I have a replated left bumper guard, perfect $150.00 and a good right core, needs plating, $40.00. All prices are plus shipping, or you can pick them up, thanks, Paul
  6. Sure wish you were in the St. Louis area, I went to 2 salvage yards Saturday and one of them has at least 5 '95-'98 Riv's in it, and, not wrecked. Is something wrong with these beauties that I don't know about? I had a '95 and loved it, other than the minimal headroom, my head kept hitting the sunroof cover. Paul
  7. I have the rear bumper, needs plating, guards are bad, but no rear fender, Paul
  8. I believe I have one, but, would need some way of identifying it positively. If you let me know how, I will check it out. Where are you located ? I'm in St. Louis, Mo. Paul
  9. I'm looking for a '50-'53 Buick, Cadillac or Olds convertible quarter window glass upper curved channel. I have one, but, the other one was not with the car when I bought it. I can use the lower cast part from a hardtop, which I have, but, the upper channel is not shaped the same. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Paul in St. Louis
  10. Pete, give me a drawing with dimensions and I will make you some. I'll probably use concrete anchor bolts and rebend the ends. Paul
  11. I have a complete set, but, I think the exhaust manifolds may be cracked and welded, I would have to check further next week. Where are you located, they are extremely heavy. Paul
  12. Go to your nearest Hot Rod store. They have one that fits above the mirror, actually sticks to the windshield, and has a built in amplifier (don't have a clue how it works), but, you need to run 12 volts to it. Maybe 6 volts would work. I believe its made by AutoLoc. You should be able to find somewhere to hide it, but, not under metal. Paul
  13. I have a Wonderbar radio from a '50 Buick, 1st year of the Wonderbar. It has the floor switch, but, the wire has been cut. Don't know if it works or not. $50.00 plus shipping. (It's heavy) Paul in St. Louis 314-574-9853 or 42buickman@gmail.com
  14. I believe the number that I am missing is 4692389, as the middle number is 4692391, the long number is 4692393, also, one has a dimple in it where the stud is broken off, so, you will need number 4692392 if you can find it. Paul
  15. Ted, I found 5 of them today, one of the short ones is missing, but, the other 5 are really nice, buff only, don't need replating, Paul
  16. Ted, I've got a set of 7, all I have to do is find them, Paul
  17. I have what I believe is a '51 complete engine. Have no idea if it's good or not, let me know, thanks, Paul in St. Louis
  18. I checked the ratio this morning, sorry, it's a 3.07. Paul
  19. I have one for sale, I will check the ratio tomorrow and get back to you, Paul
  20. I just checked the numbers, 1959-1962 are the same, 1963-1965 are the same, then 1966 is all alone. Can't imagine what is different, but, the numbers are different. If you find that it would fit anyway, let me know, thanks, Paul
  21. If it's the same as a '64, I have one. Paul
  22. Matt, I have a '50 Super that I am parting out, the motor supposed runs, but, I have never even tried to start it. I will try it tomorrow if you may be interested. It is a 263 engine. I'm in St. Louis, so, travel may not be too much of a problem, Let me know, Paul
  23. What's your location, Paul
  24. They came on both motors. The quickest way to tell is to measure the length of the exhaust manifold, it's approx. 36 inches from end to end. Paul
