  1. I have a 3.07 out of a '64 Riv. if you are interested.
  2. I have a jack, it's the one made by Universal, as shown in the picture, second one from the left. It's stamped Universal. $100.00 plus shipping, even has the jack handle.
  3. I have a great crate for it, but, it's in St. Louis
  4. I never realized that the bolt was that heavy. The one that I have could have been shipped in an envelope. You learn something new every day. Happy New Year
  5. Just saw this thread. I had the same problem with my '30 model 44 roadster. When all the painting and wood graining was done, I used a needle with a handle made from a cork to scratch the paint out of the stamping. You have to be very careful to stay in the outline of the letter as the white acrylic paint will stay in any scratches that you make outside the letters. I did the same thing on the steering/horn button lettering, and it turned out absolutely perfect. Paul
  6. The car was sitting at my shop for the past couple of years, Pete Phillips is taking it to his place to do some work on it, and put inside out of the elements. It's for sale, just get in touch with Pete. (Pete, you just can't do anything anymore, you will get caught every time by the very observant BCA'ers.)
  7. Chrysler muscle cars in the '60's used a rectangular shaped exhaust tip, don't remember which one though.
  8. I ran into a situation several years ago when a guy was overhauling a '56 Century, and it had a cracked head. He called me and I had a head. It was identical, except all the casting numbers started with a '9', (Chev. castings) instead of '1' as Buicks. I looked in Hollander Interchange books and it stated just that. Nailheads were used in big trucks from '57 thru '59.
  9. Try Broadway Title Co. in Alabama.
  10. David, I have a '57 RM 75 that I am parting out, and still has the radiator in it. The number is 3139561, which according to my Hollander Interchange book, is a late model '57. It also says it will fit the other '57's with air conditioning, and will give better cooling. It probably has a thicker core. It has been sitting awhile, but, is in beautiful condition, I don't think the fins are bent at all. $75.00 plus shipping. Paul in St. Louis
  11. I have one, either complete or just the top piece. Would be cheaper to ship just the top. Paul in St. Louis Gmail 42buickman@gmail.com, cell 314-574-9853
  12. I have one from a '64 Riv, where are you located ?
  13. What is the length of them, I may have them. Paul
  14. Matt, I have a rear window wiper setup that was on a '46 Roadmaster 2 door sedanette, $65.00 plus shipping. Paul
  15. If you are still looking for the grease caps for a '30 Buick, I have two of them. They have threads on the out side, not the inside. Let me know. Paul

    1942 Buick

What model are you looking for? I have been thinking about selling 2 of my '42's. One is a roadmaster, near perfect condition, original interior, repainted on exterior. 32000 original miles, I'm the 5th owner. $28000.00 The other is a special convertible, mechanically very good, could use paint, just a bad job, no rust. Has new vinyl interior, should be leather. Runs and drives like a new car. $38000.00 Paul
  17. Finally got to the garage to check on the bumper ends. I have the right rear end, has new chrome, has 8 small imperfections and one spot about 1/2 inch round, and on the very bottom, it has a dull spot where the chrome didn't work well. $175.00 plus shipping. Let me know, thanks, Paul
  18. Brian, I believe I have a power brake unit complete from a '56 Century, would need to be re-built, but, if I remember correctly, the booster was working when I parted the car out, several years ago. It has been stored inside. I will check when I get to the shop. Paul
  19. I think I still have a rechromed right rear corner, I will check tomorrow. I may have a repairable left corner also. Paul in St. Louis
  20. Thanks for the concern guys. We are both just fine, didn't make it to the basement, but, we were on the way there. It was over in just a few seconds. We lost 45 trees, we now have only 5 left out of 50, and, 30 of them were huge, mostly wild cherry which will be sawed up for some good cabinet lumber. We lost about a dozen windows, siding, a detached garage which was cut in half by a 30 inch wild cherry tree, with the '63 Wildcat sitting in the middle of the garage. It can possibly be fixed, but, it will take a donor car to do it. My guess, $15000 to fix it. We just got cable back about an hour ago, my reason for not replying earlier. Thanks, God Bless, Paul
  21. Well, I have the exhaust completed, and, If I have to say so, it is really tucked in nicely. I've never welded pipes in a car before, but, it's done, and, doesn't look bad at all. But, I did notice one thing in particular, the frame did not have a hole cut in it for the left pipe, but. it did have the 3 holes for the front pipe hanger in front of the muffler, just like it does on the right side. Doesn't make any sense to me. I will try to start a new thread with pictures, thanks for the help, Paul
  22. Thanks for the great photo of the exhaust. I cut the hole exactly across from the right side, it worked out just fine. I basically have it all roughed in, but, need to work on the manifold pipes yet. As far as what is done to the car : 401 motor, '63 Wildcat floor shifter and console, '64 Riv tilt steering, a/c, p/b set-up from '95 Roadmaster, disc brakes on front; power seats, windows, mirrors, doors, trunk, bucket seats, electric fan, electric wipers, new wiring, power steering, wire wheels, 2 1/4 inch exhaust, Tangerine paint, all new chrome etc., new custom interior, tinted glass. The gutters have been removed, the screen in front of the windshield has been removed and filled in, and the firewall replaced with a flat plate, and, the most stunning of all modifications, the 4 portholes have been frenched in by cutting around the whole area and reversing the holes, thereby having the portholes sticking in the fender rather than out. Hard to explain, but, it does wonders for the look of the car. I will try to put a picture of it on here, but, can't promise anything. Thanks for the input and interest. This is my first street rod, it was already started when I bought it, or, I would have kept it stock. Thanks again, Paul
  23. Frank, I have a NOS radiator, still in the Harrison box, for $250 plus shipping. Paul in St. Louis
  24. Mr. Earl, don't worry about bidding against me, my car has a 401 in it, so, I don't need manifolds, just good luck and judgement while I cut a hold in the frame. Paul
